"New Life, New Enemies, Love"

Chapter 24

Third Person
Klaus turns when Davina shouts, seeing Caroline throwing up blood. He is to her in a second but she is already on the ground not moving. He shouts for Elijah. He is there in an instant. Pain is written all over his face as he turns to Elijah. "Get Genevieve." Klaus snakes out. Picking Caroline up bridle style, he's back at the compound in no time. Elijah right behind and Davina running to catch up. Elijah flings everything off of the table in the court yard. Klaus sets Caroline down. Trying to feel for a pulse and getting nothing.

"I can't get her pulse!" Klaus yells. Genevieve comes rushing in and Klaus quickly slams her against the stone wall. "What did you do to her!" He screams in her face.

Genevieve eyes widen. "This wasn't me." Klaus tightens his hand around her throat. "Then fix it." He lets her go and she drops to her knees.

"We don't have time for this Niklaus!" Elijah yells. Looking at Genevieve "If you didn't do this then prove it to us. Help her!"

Genevieve gets up off of her knees and walks over to Caroline. "I need these items, turnip root, rosemary, hazel weed."

Davina leaves to gather all the ingredients. Klaus paces back-and-forth with his hand behind his head, taking glances at Caroline. He slams his fist at the stone wall and yells, "If you don't save them both I will kill you."

Genevieve looks at him, "both?"

Genevieve has a hand on Caroline's head and one on her stomach chanting while Klaus continues to pass back and fourth, he bites his wrist not bothered by the sting that comes with it, he brings the wrist to Caroline's lips but nothing happens, "Why isn't anything happening!"

"It's a complicated spell, it has locks at each door." Genevieve says.

"What if you canal me?" Davina asks.

"That could work, here give me your hand!" Davina holds Genevieve's hand and they both begin to chant.

Elijah has been standing off to the side watching all of it play out, rage over comes him and he throws a table against the wall, the table splits into tiny pieces, he points at Klaus, "This is why you should have told her Nicklaus! Now look at her! We could lose them both!"

Klaus glares at Elijah, his brother of all people should realize how important they are to him, "I will not lose either of them!"

Genevieve sees a vision of Monique now that she is canalling Davina. Looking up she says "I know what to do, get my purse the green pouch in it!
