We walked for many miles but soon Sam, I and Frodo began to fall behind. In the Mines so much was happening I never had a chance to focus on myself but now that we're walking again the pain of my injuries seemed to grow.

When Legolas turned around he saw how behind we were. Everyone halted and Aragorn ran back to us.

"I am sorry. So much has happened, I have forgotten that you were hurt. You should have spoken. Come now! A little further on there is a place we can rest for a little." Aragorn said.
He also offered for Boromir and himself to carry us but I refused and managed by myself to walk to a stream where we stopped and rested.

Aragorn came round checking up on everyone. Sam was lucky his cut was not poisoned and would heal quickly, Frodo came out with a nasty bruise but nothing worse then last Aragorn came to me. He looked over my shoulder and hand, I had many other smaller cuts a bruise's. His expression was not grave meaning that mine were not serious and we could continue soon.

"You fought well." Aragorn smiled and wrapped my main injury's up. "You have skill with your blades."

"Thank you but I am not as skilled as you and definitely not Legolas." I smile.

"You doubt yourself. (Y/n), I'd say you have the skill of an Elf." Aragorn told me.

———

Later Boromir came up to me and spoke, "I was wrong to have doubted you."
With that he walked ahead.

—————

After that we continue our walk and as the sun was setting we entered a woods.

"Shh! Stay close, young Hobbits." Gimli said to us as he walked ahead not looking where he was going.  "They say that a great sorceress lives in these woods. An Elf-witch...of terrible power. All who look upon her fall under her spell... and are never seen again."

I don't understand stand what Gimli was on about because I thought the forest was beautiful and peaceful.

"Well, here's one Dwarf she won't ensnare so easily. I have the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a fox." Gimli continued but the moment he looked forward there was arrows inches away from his head and soon all around us healed by Elves.

"The Dwarf breathes so loud, we could have shot him in the dark." A blonde haired Elf said as he stepped forward that comment caused Gimli to growl.

—————

We were lead up many stairs and were led to a platform high in the trees. The moon was high in the sky but even in the darkness the woods didn't seem threatening.

"Welcome Legolas, Son of Thranduil." The same Elf that spoke to us before, I learned his name to be Haldir, greeted Legolas in Elvish.

"Our Fellowship stands in your debt." Legolas thanked.

"Aragorn of the Dunedain... you are known to us." Haldir said to Aragorn.

"So much for the legendary courtesy of the Elves!" Gimli angrily said. "Speak words we can all understand!"

"We have not had dealings with the Dwarves since the Dark Days." Haldir spoke to Gimli.

"And you know what this Dwarf says to that?" Gimli then spoke in Dwarvish a language I could not understand but I knew whatever he said wasn't exactly kind.

"That was not so courteous." Aragorn spoke to Gimli not very impressed.

"You bring great evil with you." Haldir said looking at Frodo. "You can go no further."

———

We sat down as Aragorn desperately tried to reason with Haldir.

"Frodo, everything will be alright." I say to him but he doesn't answer and just looks down.

"Gandalf's death was not in vain." Boromir spoke sitting in front of us. "Nor would he have you give up hope. You carry a heavy burden, Frodo. Don't carry the weight of the dead."

"You will follow me." Haldir said walking over.

—————

He lead us deeper through the woods as the sun rose.

"Caras Galadhon. The heart of Elvendom on Earth. Realm of the the Lord Celeborn and of Galadriel, Lady of the Light." Haldir spoke as we looked out upon a large area of tall trees rising up above the rest.

—————

We followed as he lead us up stairs through the beautiful Elven kingdom. Many stairs wrapped around the large trunks of the tree.

———

When we reached our destination it night and the stars sparkled down we stood on a high platform in the tree. We stopped in front of a set of stairs.

A man and a woman both seemed to be glowing as they stepped down the stairs. They were Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel. Galadriel's hair looked like gold, she was the most beautiful woman/ Elf I have ever seen.

"The enemy knows you have entered here." Celeborn spoke. "What hope you had in secrecy is now gone. Nine there are here, yet ten there were set out from Rivendell. Tell me, where is Gandalf, for I much desire to speak with him. I can no longer see him from afar."

"Gandalf the Grey did not pass the borders of this land. He has fallen into Shadow." Galadriel spoke.

"He was taken by both Shadow and Flame. A Balrog of Morgoth. For we went needlessly into the net of Moria." Legolas spoke out.

"Needless were none of the deeds of Gandalf in life. We do not yet know his full purpose." Galadriel said.

'(Y/n).' I heard the voice of Galadriel echo through my head, I looked up upon her. She was speaking but she her mouth did not match the words I heard. 'You carry something that was long lost. Bearer of one of the Seven. Your blood is not pure. But you are strong and so is your heart.'

"What now becomes of this Fellowship? Without Gandalf, hope is lost." Celeborn spoke and Galadriel's voice left my head.

"The quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Do not let your heart be troubled. Go now and rest, for you are weary with sorrow and much toil. Tonight, you will sleep in peace." Galadriel told us.
