"we're minutes away from there."
joshua nodded without parting his gaze through the screen of his laptop that was placed in front of him at the glass table. "take your time, just rang the doorbell so i would know you're here."
"alright."
and without minding to press the hung up button, joshua just placed back his phone on the side to where he knew he wouldn't get distracted from what he was busy doing in front of his laptop and he just heard hansol was the one who hung up the call for the both of them. after that, silence filled the area ㅡ or more like his office here inside his house and the only noise you could hear was how fast he was typing on the keyboard and some times you could hear him groaning since he kept tapping the wrong letter which somewhat making him distracted a little.
it took almost twenty minutes of silence before joshua had to stop from typing as he automatically stood up from sitting on his swivel chair but he made sure that he already saved the progress he was writing before he heard the doorbell was ringing at his doorstep which means that hansol, his best friend who flew from new york with someone was already here. he was walking down the narrow hallways of his house while playing with the door keys using his right slender hand, oh he used to locked the door every time he's alone in their house though there were no thieves around their street.
joshua did not bother to look at the peephole since he already know who's waiting at the outside as he inserted the key then switch it for the door to open. and as the door swung opened, he was greeted with hansols wide smile which was contagious enough for him to let out a small smile too, greeting hansol back as he noticed someone.. more like a guy behind hansol, which for sure the guy hansol was talking about.. and the guy he brought a plane ticket with to flew from new york to here.
"where's my nephew and niece?" that was hansol asked the moment he stepped at joshua's fancy house.
joshua chuckled. "they're at school sol, today is thursday. you'll see them later anyways if you insist to stay." he was saying it while closing the door of his house and noticed the other guy who was holding his head low that seemed like he was meek. "is he the one you're referring, sol? mind introducing him to me?"
though he already know it was that guy hansol was talking about and a guy he expected to meet today, joshua still asked because he was feeling awkward since this was the first time ㅡ after madison died, some stranger stepped inside his house and he let him anyways.
"or more like.. you, introduce yourself to me."
joshua saw how hansol tugged his friend ㅡ the guy beside him and joshua admit it got him to let out a chuckled witnessing how the guy stood properly as he held his head high, finally joshua could see his whole face. and though it was the matter of seconds for their both eyes to meet for the first time before the guy bowed at him, joshua could clearly see those eyes, his very pointed nose, those deadly cheekbones he does not know if its because of the couture or it was really natural and those jawline or more like the shape of this guy's face.
