Episode 13

"congratulations jeshua krystyne hong for winning third place in spelling bee! we are so proud of you!" 

everyone, including of course, seokmin stood up as he clapped his both hands in the air the moment jeshua's name has been called by the emcee announcing that his boss' daughter won an award in spelling bee. jeshua stood up and went to the stage along with her coach, which is also her adviser and seokmin didn't know why but witnessing how jeshua went to the stage to get her medal and certificate made a pang on his chest that it almost made him tear up especially when he saw how jeshua smiled so wide on stage while holding her bronze medal that was hanging on her neck already. 

and seokmin's heart really melt when jeshua and his gazes met on the way and because of that, mas lalong lumaki ang ngiti nang bata that she was jumping a little. after receiving her medal and certificate, seokmin couldn't help himself but to shed tears already when he saw how jeshua ran towards him instead of going back to her seat with her coach, jeshua even called his name that gains some attention from the audiences but seokmin didnt mind it as he bend down to welcome jeshua in his arms because for sure jeshua was going to hug him. 

when jeshua came where seokmin was standing, she threw her body to him and hug her min-ssi which seokmin gladly hugged her back. and seokmin used that hug to hide himself because his eyes kept shedding tears like as if jeshua was her own daughter na nanalo sa isang competition. call him very overreacting but that's what he was feeling right now. he was feeling proud of jeshua's achievement na akala mo sya yung nanalo hindi yung bata. he was very happy, he was very happy for jeshua that he was crying. 

"i got third place, min-ssi! look at this medal!" jeshua jumped a little while showing her bronze medal to seokmin right after they hugged, and good thing that seokmin is fond of acting so when jeshua freed the hug, he made sure na hindi makikita nang bata na umiiyak sya. "for sure daddy would be happy once he knew i won an award! and oh look min-ssi, it has my name on the paper!" 

while jeshua was busy showing her certificate and medal to him, seokmin cupped jeshua's cheeks making the kid looked at him, still wearing that huge smile that reaches her both eyes and that dimple and her whole set of teeth. she was looking at seokmin with so much happiness evident in her eyes, and seokmin can see that. that happiness in the kid's eyes ngayon lang nya nakita ever since he became their maid.

seokmin smiled sweetly. "congratulations, baby. min-ssi im so proud of you." 

jeshua giggled. "i know you are, min-ssi. you're crying." and then to seokmin's surprise, jeshua wiped seokmin's left cheek which probably has tears. jeshua smiled. "in the future, i'll win more awards so you and daddy can be proud of me more." 

"no baby, we, your daddy and i are already proud of you, baby." seokmin assured jeshua making the kid nods her head then she hugged seokmin once again. 

after the hugging and crying session, jeshua stayed with seokmin at the back of this gymnasium while waiting for the event to finish. oh, i haven't mentioned yet, today is the day the spelling and other academic competition was held and there are almost twenty private elementary schools who joined to compete with jeshua and chrystyan's school and luckily, jeshua got third place overall sa spelling bee category. chrystyan didn't join any kaya si jeshua lang ang kasama ni seokmin ngayon dito sa gym. and since chrystyan didn't join, he has a class today.
