Chapter Twelve A Confession

After the incident at the park the mood of the day had went down and Jae hyun and Wonyoung had taken a cab back to her dorm.

"Thank you, Have a nice evening" Wonyoung told the driver as she slid out the car after paying Jae Hyun got out too and slammed the door behind him.

For a minute they stood there in front of each other awkwardly "Sorry" they both eventually blurted at the same time "Wait why are you sorry" Wonyoung asked him confused she had been the one to get his hand messed up and she was rude at the bakery because of her childish jealousy he had nothing to be sorry about.

"I shouldn't have left you alone with that jerk" His face was full of regret and his normally smiling mouth was turned down in a disappointed frown. Wonyoung frowned too how had a fun day gotten so twisted she wanted to turn it around but couldn't think of how.

"Can I have your number" Wonyoung suddenly asked him even if today was a bust she wasn't going to give up.

He made her feel like more than just another pretty female idol.
And he liked her bubbly, random, little clumsy awkward self he didn't expect her to be anything but who she was and it had been so long since she had met someone who didn't want something from her or that didn't judge who she was from articles and twisted edited videos.
she wasn't giving that up all because of some pervert in the park.

"Please" Wonyoung fake pouted but Jae hyun seemed hesitant so she stopped. "Well I guess I should go then" she muttered even though she wanted to stay friends it was up to him if he wanted to too. As she began walking to the gate wonyoung begged in her head for him to call out to her. 

"Wait, Here" he called out before she closed the gate to her building wonyoung smiled he stood there phone out stretched "I'm sorry I just" he trailed off with a long sigh "You drive me insane" he confessed

Wonyoung eyes widened shocked she drives him insane how embarrassing " sorry but i thought you wanted to be friends" Wonyoung replied defensive he drives her insane too talking with that girl and Getting hurt he made her nervous, jealous and worried.

"I don't want to be friends" Jae hyun stated wonyoung felt like the wind had been knocked out of her she couldn't look at him or speak she couldn't do anything but stand there embarrassed and slightly hurt.   

"You make me speechless and embarrassed" he started making her want to crawl in a whole and die was he really going to sit there and explain why he didn't want to be friends.

"You make me want to destroy any one who just looks at you for a little to long" He added peaking wonyoung's interest
"Your so beautiful, funny and kind I know your way to good for me. But after all our run in's, me punching a guy and spending a whole ten hours just walking around with you I thought you knew I wanted more than friendship Wonyoung" He finished.

Wonyoung felt like she was going to explode with happiness her heart was pounding and she was blushing immensely, She didn't know how to act or what to say next she had never had a boy that wasn't a fan and that she actually knew or liked confess to her.

But she also thought about her idol career and his. while she had been an idol for a while Jae hyun hadn't even debuted yet if a scandal got out especially a dating one and with her, he would be finished.

"I like you dummy" Jae hyun said in simpler terms pushing her shoulder softly he looked like a puppy eyes wide and smile Lazy.

Wonyoung clasped her hands together this was going to be hard but she already had haters she wasn't going to put him through the same "I'm sorry Jae Hyun" she started it felt like a slap as his smile instantly dropped "I don't like you" She lied forcing the words out of her mouth.

"You lying" he challenged eyes squinted trying to read her "I-I didn't expect this " Wonyoung replied stepping back "Your a great Guy Jae hyun" Wonyoung tried to explain but was cut off "I don't need a pity explanation Wonyoung, to your lie" He said She felt tears sting her eyes but took a deep breath trying to postpone them she didn't think he would be so defiant.

"Stop saying that Jae hyun, I was trying to be a good sunbaenim" She Replied it was kind of true as his senior she shouldn't be dragging him into a scandal all because she liked him it was best to cut him off now, no matter how badly she wanted to cry and take back everything she just said "Then why were your following me and all flirty" He countered.

Was she that flirty ? Seo jun said it at the park too but she had only greeted him with a bow and polite smile maybe her face and reactions were misleading people she hadn't thought she flirted with Jae hyun once.

"It was childish and I'm sorry for misleading you" Wonyoung began Again "I greatly appreciate what you did for me at the park and for all the comfort and kindness you have given me but I think are relationship should stay strictly professional" She finally finished in one long sentence and before he could respond wonyoung took off in run but he quickly caught her wrist loosely holding it.

His face was pale and eyes tired and the tears began falling down her face "please" she managed to mutter out. It was becoming to hard to look at him after saying things she didn't mean and he didn't deserve. He finally dropped her wrist officially giving up.

Wonyoung Quickly stepped behind the gate and then slammed it behind her choking back sobs.

She ran up the stairs, unlocked the door and quickly entered the dorm before her mind could convince herself to run back to him and take back everything she had just done she knew it was for the best but she hurt so much. Wonyoung never realized how attached they had become in only a few days.

Wonyoung slid down the door and onto the floor a mess of tears and sobs. She was glad the dorm was empty so she could mourn Jae hyun in peace.
