Chapter Twenty Six Facing Reality

Jihoon POV

*A few Hours before the message

It was about an hour after he finnished his final recording for Kbs music festival as an mc and Jihoon was finally leaving the building.

He hadn't spoken to wonyoung much today since she had important plans with her member Gaeul but that didn't keep her out of his mind. There mc work together was officially done and they had signed out of there hotel this morning.

As Jihoon walked out of the building and into the slightly chilly evening he wondered if wonyoung was going to miss there time together like he was. Sure they were friends and will still hangout plenty but there working together and late night meals just hit different for him.

Suddenly as Jihoon walked down the stone pathway to catch a cab home a strong hand gripped his shoulder. As he whirled around Jihoon made eye contact with non other than Jae hyun confusion and surprise filled his thoughts "What are you doing here?" He asked Jae hyun displeased.

They hadn't seen each other in two months since he left starboys and truthfully Jihoon liked it much better that he was gone. As petty and pathetic as it sounds he hated living with someone who dated the girl he was falling for and a guy who didn't deserve her in Jihoon opinion.

"I needed to ask you something" Jae hyun revealed and Jihoon scoffed "its been two months and your asking for a favor" He responded Turing away from Jae Hyun.

But Jae hyun just grabbed his arm pulling him back Jihoon quickly snatched his arm back pissed "don't touch me" Jihoon growled

Jaehyun finally dropped his arm "Look man I'm sorry, But I need to contact Wonyoung" "No" Jihoon spat instantly as the words left Jaehyun's mouth He scoffed "What's your deal man" Jae hyun pushed Jihoon shoulder and he felt like he was going to explode with anger.
This guy was an class A douche how and why had wonyoung every dated him?

"Just leave her alone you piece of trash, she is doing much better without you" Jihoon told him walking closer "Why do you even care-" Jae hyun paused and then started laughing loudly "oh my god you like her don't you" Jae hyun gasped out a nasty grin on his face, Jihoon didn't respond "and you think you have chance" He poked his finger in Jihoon's shoulder once again Jihoon pushed him away hard, jae hyun stumped backwards a pissed off looking on his face.

"Oh push and ignore me all you want Jihoon she isn't into you" Jae hyun spat fuming "Your childish, obsessive and a wimpy little kid" Jae hyun added. Jihoon looked down at the ground staring at his feet trying to block everything out even though it all felt like the truth.

"Fine Jihoon, try to keep her in your little bubble for as long as you can but remember one day she will wake up look outside and realize she deserves much more than your pathetic self, you will always be just a fan" Jae hyun whispered in an aggressive tone before pushing around Jihoon and stumbling off the Kbs grounds.

Jihoon collapsed onto a nearby bench numb and tired his heart was crushed and reality had finally hit him Jae hyun was right what was he going to do never leave her side always be her friend following her around like a puppy to keeping feeding his love for her? Eventually she would get a boyfriend and a family moving on with her life while he spent half his life waiting for her.

Wonyoung was never coming if she hadn't realized by now that he loved her then she never would he had to end this when he could before anything extreme happens but when Jihoon searched his pockets he realized his phone was missing.
