Chapter Seventeen Pay Back is a Bitch

"I can't believe this" Wonyoung heard Gaeul whisper as she walked down the hallway a few days later.
"I wonder if he treats his members that way" Yujin asked and the other members gasped.
Wonyoung walked into the dinning room sitting down beside Leeseo.

They were all still bare faced and in the pajamas no food had been cooked either. "Who leaked the video" liz asked looking at something on her phone Wonyoung couldn't see what it was.

"It was anonymously given to dispatch" yujin responded. Wonyoung crinkled her eye brows confused they had been exhausted last night and crashed as soon as they got home. She did get a surprising message saying schedules had been cancelled but she hadn't heard anything about leaked videos and dispatch.

"Why were are schedules cancelled" Wonyoung asked calmly taking a sip of milk she had just poured for herself "because the scandal the companies freaking out" liz told her shocked.

Surprised wonyoung chocked on the milk she had been drinking leaving her in a coughing fit leeseo having to smack her back till she could breath again. Wonyoung felt hot and sweaty and her throat sore from choking what scandal? She was praying it wasn't about her.

"Wait, you didn't see the video" Gaeul looked at her she had a pitying look on her face wonyoung shook her head full of confusion "Jae hyun is a school bully" Leeseo chimed in handing wonyoung her phone a video cued up.

The recording was shaking but the image was clear and panic flooded her as she saw seo jun talking to a girl who was wonyoung but her face wasn't visible from this angle it looked like a playful couple not seojun harassing her. Then Jae hyun throws the ball and begins pushing and teasing Seojun who was now bleeding and begging for Jae hyun to stop.

The video ended with Seojun running off and Jae hyun smiling. "I feel bad for the couple, maybe jae hyun was jealous our something" Rei said and the other members nodded in agreement  

"This isn't true and neither is that" Wonyoung stated her ears were ringing and she was panicked. 

"What do you mean" Yujin asked Wonyoung eyeing her but wonyoung didn't know what to say surly admitting she had a relationship with jae hyun now that people thought he was a school bully wasn't a good move. "I need Air" Was all wonyoung replied the she grabbed her phone stood up from the table and ran outside she needed to call Jae hyun so they could sort this out. 

Wonyoung dialed his phone number and pressed it to her ear waiting for him to Answer "you can't call me" Jae hyun said as soon as he Answered he sounded panicked and was speaking in a hushed tone "I had too I saw the video and articles what are we going to do" Wonyoung asked she felt like her heart was going to pound out of her chest.

"We aren't doing anything I am, you need to stay out of this" he sounded exhausted he probably barely slept last night "thank God you weren't showed in the video but.." he trailed off Wonyoung eyes filled with tears her members, dispatch and from what she saw from the comments everyone believed it.

With the incriminating video the company would have no choice but to cut his contract to protect the group. "B-b but we" wonyoung stuttered her voice cracking it felt like her world was crumbling around her how could this be happening they were finally together she felt helpless 

"Don't call or text me wonyoung i mean it please just stay out of this"  Jae hyun Instructed "What, No i was there i can get this cleared just let me talk to-" "No, Wonyoung it will just make everything worse please just forget about everything it neve happened ok"  wonyoung's tears finally broke and slowly fell down her face. She gripped her necklace. They had hung out just a few days ago how had it turned into this. 

"Goodbye Wonyoung" Jae hyun whispered for the last time ending the call. "Wait" wonyoung called out in a pleading tone but the call was over.

Wonyoung stumbled back inside falling against the door slamming it closed startled the members "what the-" yujin said confused but wonyoung couldn't hide her feelings.

Gaeul was on the couch she looked at wonyoung with the same knowing and pitying eyes "what" Wonyoung spat out angrily she wasn't in the mood to play games but Gaeul didn't seemed fazed she just grabbed wonyoung and wrapped her in a hug "I'm sorry" Was all Gaeul said to wonyoung softly rubbing her back holding her.

Gaeul wasn't the one who needed to be sorry who ever did this to Jae hyun should be. Wonyoung wasn't just hurt this time she wasn't going to sit in her room and except this situation she was pissed and determined to uncover the truth of this even if it meant exposing her self and Ignoring her promise with jae hyun to stay out of it  because Sweet, kind Jae Hyun didn't deserve this.

If they were going to play dirty so could she. Pay backs a bitch and so is Jang Wonyoung.
