The library, also known as the place I escape to when reality becomes too... real. Most of my time is spend here, oftentimes cuddled up in Regulus' lap, reading or studying for exams.
Regulus never was anyone for physical contact until we met, he never hugged people, let alone kissed them, but when we met, his whole demeanour changed— at least with me. I don't dare say he encourages me to hug him randomly, but he tolerates it if it's in public. In private, now that is another matter.

Growing up with his difficult parents was a challenge to say the least, instead of being met with love, he was met with high expectations and nearly cruel behaviour.
I was the complete opposite of him. While he was Slytherin, I was a Hufflepuff and while he had rather challenging childhood, I grew up with love and affection from my parentage.

I know what they say, that 'opposites attract' and all that, but besides our houses and our parents, we're much alike. For example, we both adore reading— mystery, muggle books and even romance, though he would never admit it. We also both enjoy writing— stories, diary entries, anything really, and have never had much trouble with essays.
We are both Quidditch players, though he is a seeker and I a chaser and we play for opposite teams, but it is convenient, since we can practice together in the holidays, when barely anyone is around. We both have to return home once in a while, which, for me, is not really a problem, but I would never be caught dead leaving Regulus alone.

Today was one of these library days. I was cuddled up next to Regulus, my eyes fixed on the book in my hand, hungrily taking in the words.
I had this thing with Regulus, that every week we pick another book to read, one week it's his turn, the next is mine and the rule is that the other cannot object to the choice. This is quite entertaining, because I liked almost all of Regulus' books and he liked most of mine, but once I a while, I picked a romance book just for seeing his reaction to it (not-amused) and the next day, I'd find him in his dorm, deeply immersed in the pages of the novel.

Currently, I was in my favourite position, legs over the armrest of the chair, in Regulus' lap, leaning against his body to steady myself. I could hear his heartbeat from my position, his hot, minty breath fanning my neck as he read over my shoulder. "Romance isn't that bad, huh? You look like you're enjoying yourself."
"Speak for yourself." He huffed, "Like I have a choice."
"I am not forcing you to read this." I said, leaning back my head to look into his handsome face.
"Uh-huh," He rolled his eyes, brushing a curl from his forehead. He slowly leaned down for a kiss. "You very much are."
Our lips collided before I could reply to his muttered comment, locking me in an irresistible kiss. His soft lips moved sensually against mine, his nose brushing my cheek as he raised his hand to caress my face.

It ended to soon in my opinion and though I wanted to go in for another kiss, my lugs would not allow it yet, having to be filled with air again. When I finally caught my breath to lean up again, Regulus averted his gaze back to the book and my kiss landed on his jaw. "Hey!" I pouted, trying to turn his face towards me, but he would not budge, "What've I done now?"
He just hummed, a smirk groaning on his lips as he continued to look at the book.
"I know you're not reading, Reg, you don't have that cute little frown you usually have when you're reading."
He still didn't spare me a glance.
"Come on!"
Still nothing.
"Fine, I guess I'll just leave then." I started getting up, but strong arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me back down and soon I felt kisses being peppered all over my face. "No! Don't leave me, darling!" He breathed dramatically, pressing a kiss onto the shell of my ear.

I giggled, wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling myself up. "Then you have to admit, romance isn't that bad."
"Y/nnnnn," He whined, burying his face in my neck, pressing more kisses to it.
"Kisses won't save you, Reggie, say it or I'm leaving."
He grumbled again, pressing a last line of kisses on my neck before raising his head so his nose was barely touching mine. "Fine, it's okay."
"Hmm?"
"Okay, they're pretty good as long as there's no cheesy stuff."
"Like what? Like this?" I launched into variations of 'Oh, I love you!' and 'I will always love... you' and 'OH MAYBE BECAUSE I LOVE YOU YOU DUMBASS!"
Causing him to put a hand over my mouth to muffle my giggles as to not attract to wrath of the librarian.
"Alright, love, that's enough romance books for you, we're reading murder mystery next."

First: THANK YOU ALL FOR 2K READS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, now.... that was a bad ending, I probably could have written more, but nah.

This was actually sitting in my drafts for quite a while and since I haven't posted for some time, I thought this could work. Urgh, sorry that its so short though.

Also to all the people that have requests, I am working on them but I have a whole ass English project and a shitload of exams coming now so, patience.

Anyways, please send in further requests (don't be a ghost reader!) and for the love of— please comment!!
