Chapter 4

After Blake left for "business" I screeched right in Danielle's face.
"EEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU LIKE BLAKE!!!!!!!! I yelled.
"Sssshhhhhhh! Are you crazy?! He could be right out there,"she covered my mouth with her hand then looking at the front door.
My uncle Nate left about an hour ago to go to the gym with some buddies.
"Sorry," I giggled. "you've never like liked someone before, you've just thought that they were "cute"," I held my hands up and put quotations around cute.
"Yeah I don't know what it is about him but... I don't know Ash," she admitted sitting down on the love seat.
"It's ok I won't tell," I said sitting next to her. "But you so should," I told her.
She looked at me with hopeful eyes.
"Do you think you can figure out if he likes me?" She asked.
"Well duh I'm gonna find out. but I'm not going to be the one that tells him you like him, you have to do that yourself," I told her getting up and heading to the kitchen to get a water bottle.
"Would Nate mind..." she asked and I shook my head knowing exactly what she was going to ask.
"Want one?" I asked her. she looked at me and nodded her head.
I tossed her the cold bottle from the kitchen and she caught it easily.
I went and sat back down beside her then hearing my phone start to buzz.
Blake- Ashley??
Ashley- yeah?
Blake-umm, there's going to be someone stopping by your house...
Ashley-why?
Blake-can you just open the door? He told me not to say any thing.
Ashley-umm... sure ok.
After our brief conversation I handed the phone to Dannie to read the messages.
She handed it back to me and and I shrugged.
Then we heard the door bell.
I went to the door and opened it.
There stood the bad boy from school that was staring at me all day. I think his name was Cade. Just kidding. Duh I know him.
"Hey, you must be the mysterious guy in supposed to let into my house..." I said leaning on the door frame.

Cade's POV
(One hour ago)
"I think you should just go to her house and talk to her," Blake said sitting in the recliner across the room.
"How am I supposed to do that?" I asked removing one hand from my face then putting it back.
"Well you put one foot in front of the other and try not to fall flat on your face when she opens the door and you have a mental heart attack," he said to me like he was talking to a pre schooler.
"I will cut off your balls and put them in a jar," I told him sternly.
"Ok, ok. Just go talk to her. what if she likes you back," he wiggled his eye brows.
"Yeah, right," I told him sliding on my converse.
"Ok I'm headed over there. wish me luck," I said then I was off.

I stood on the porch for a good five minutes before I decided to step up and walk to the door.
I knocked three times then j heard shuffling and the door opened.
I was surrounded by the toxic sent she gave off as she opened the door.
"Hey, you must be the mysterious guy I'm supposed to let into my house," she spoke teasingly while leaning on the door frame and holding onto the door with one hand. she was beautiful but she didn't know it (enter one direction song here)
"Umm?" I asked confused.
She held up her phone for me to see, "Blake texted me," she said. another wave of jealousy I felt for my best friend since diapers.
What is this girl doing to me?
"Oh," I said nervously.
"Hey who's at the-" her friend, Danielle came noggin up but stopped mid sentence when she saw me.
"Oh, Danielle this is..." Ashley trailed off.
"Cade," I said.
"...Cade. Cade this is Danielle," she finished.
"Um, can I talk to you in the kitchen?like now?" Danielle asked sternly. Ashley nodded then stepped away from the door opening it wider and letting me in.
Her whole house smelled of her and my mouth actually watered.
She took me to the living room whilst her and Danielle went to the kitchen.
With my advanced wolf hearing I could hear every word they said.
"Ash?! What's he doing here?!" Danielle, whisper/ yelled.
"I don't know, Blake said he couldn't tell me," she whispered back.
"Well I'm not staying down here for this," she said. she really does not like me much.
"So your just going to leave me here? Alone? With him?"
She asked with emphasis on the word 'him.'
I heard their voices die down and footsteps running up a flight of stairs then a door shutting.
Ashley returned with a smile.
"So, not meaning to be rude or anything but... what do you want?" She asked me. ouch.
"Um I actually just wanted to get to know you better," I told her. cheesy. very cheesy Cade, nice one.
"Well, uh... like what?" She asked sitting across the living room while I sat down on the love seat.
My wolf literally howled in my head.
'Shut up will ya' I said to him.
'How am I supposed to be calm when we found our mate but you aren't even trying to get her' he snapped.
'Well I'm trying ok' I told him and he went silent.
"Why do you want to get to know me?" She asked.
"Well your the new girl and you don't have much friends besides Danielle and Blake," I said.
"You don't seem to fond of Blake," she said "well because every time I mention his name, you clench your fists and I glimmer passes through your eye for the slightest moment," she said.
"No he's my best friend since diapers and bottles," I replied.
"Oh,"
She looked down at her hands biting her lip in the process. I groaned before I could stop it.
My wolf is starting to take over.
"How old are you?" I asked.
"Fifteen,"
"When's your birthday?"
"June 12,"
"Two weeks?"
"Yup,"

One hour later and we found out all there is to know about each other and now we were more comfortable together.
"Well I think it's time for me to get going. don't want to worry the folks," I said standing up. she walked me to the door and I walked out turning on my heel to face her.
"So do you want to go do something this weekend?" I asked.
"How much do you want it?" She asked a devious glint in her bright blue eyes.
"I don't know why don't you show me what I'm asking for," I let my eyes turn from a bright green to a dark emerald color.
She had a sexy smirk on and she walked out side, trailing a finger around my waist and swaying her butt as she walked back inside.
"Eh, not worth my precious time," she said.
my wolf took over completely, after he felt the trail of fire she had left on my waist.
He grabbed her by the waist and pushed her up against the wall.
"You know just as well as I do that this is worth our time," I replied before I leaned in and almost got to her lips when she put her hand up.
"Like I said. not worth my time," she ducked away from my grasp and walked back inside. "see ya, sexy," she said and at that nickname my wolf went crazy. she shut the door before he could do any thing.
