Back at home Blake went into Cade's office and Dannie and I were left alone in the kitchen.

I took out a glass and filled it with water.

"Why is he so freaked?" Dannie asked. I shrugged and took a drink. "You weren't that tensed and neither was Cade,"

"I know. I'm actually glad you are a wolf... Hey..." I said getting an idea. "We should turn and go into the forest," She smiled and looked back at the Alpha office.

"We'll have to sneak out," She said quietly. "After what happened I'm surprised they left us alone in the kitchen," She said rolling her eyes.

"Ok. C'mon," I whispered walking to the sliding glass door. When we got there I slid the door open a tad and was about to step through the door way when a firm hand pressed against my back and another came out and shut the door slowly.

A hand covered my mouth and I heard a familiar voice whisper in my ear.

"You girls owe me a favor," Michael's breath tickled my neck. I closed my eyes and waited for the favor I had to hear. But what I felt was his hands slide off me and I just stood there for a minute with my hands clenched and eyes shut tight.

"Ashley?" Dannie asked from outside on the porch. I opened my eyes and looked around. Michael was no where to be seen and the door was still open. I shakily stepped out the door and shut it quietly. "What was that about?" She asked as we started running to the forest.

"um. Nothing," I hesitated.

"We will talk later," She said and we reached the tree line. "Ok so how do you change?" She turned to me.

"Do you have a wolf?" I asked looking at her.

"What do you mean?" She crossed her arms and tilted her head.

"Like a small voice in your head giving advice and such?" I explained.

"Oh that's what that is?" She asked then nodded "Yes. Whew, I thought I was just going crazy," She said and I laughed.

"Ok but all you have to do is kinda sink into your mind," I said closing my eyes. "Rach the source of the voice," I found my wolf. "And let them take the lead," I said opening my eyes to reveal the brilliant blue my wolf has. She smiled and I didn't let myself transform just yet. Incase she needed help.

She closed her eyes and concentrated really hard. Nothing happened for a good few minutes then her eyes popped open and her eyes were her wolfs light caramel ones.

I smiled and said "Now just let it happen. It might hurt for a split second but not nearly as much as the first time," I said and felt the heat flow through my body as I let go of my wolfs rein completely. The next time I opened my eyes I was a wolf. I shook my fur and looked over at Dannie. She winced a little and then was a wolf.

I barked and started running deeper into the woods. Dannie followed and I slowed down a little so she could keep up.

We weaved our way through the trees and over fallen trees and between bushes until we reached a clearing and were both panting.

I caught my breath and looked around. The clearing was a perfect circle and the trees formed over it like a dome. The light flittered down through the branches and formed a lattice pattern on the soft sand. But it was sand. Why sand?

I heard some moving water and looked to the source. I walked slowly towards it and pushed a few branches away. There was another big opening but instead of sand this one was a crystal clear pond with seashells and white sand.
