Chapter 2

Cade's POV

I was leaning on the hood of my car when I smelled her intoxicating sent. She came out the front doors with Blake and a girl named Danielle. she turned to give Danielle a hug then to Blake. He said something and it made her laugh. I couldn't help but smile at her faint laughter.
Even with these three girls desperate to get my attention right all I could do right ow was focus on Ashley.
"Cade," Purred Racheal one of the girls.
I waved her off and pushed of the hood of my car.
"Cade," whined Natica pulling my arm back.
I turned around and pried her hand off my wrist. when I turned back around Ashley, Blake, or Danielle were nowhere to be seen.
I huffed in frustration and walked quickly to the door of my car. I hopped in and slammed the door. I tore out of their faster then they could bat their pretty little eyelashes.

Blake's POV

She insisted Danielle and I come to her house so we agreed.
She is so crazy in that small truck of hers. she's got me and Danielle screaming for dear life. she sharped a turned and parked in her driveway.
"Wasn't that awesome!" She yelled opening her door.
"Oh my god! Crazy woman! That was awesome!" Danielle yelled shocking me but sending me into a fit of laughter. we walked inside and into the kitchen. there was a man in his thirties talking on his phone. Ashley grabbed an apple out of the fridge and sat on the counter taking a big bite.
Danielle took an orange from the fruit bowl and sat on the other side of the counter next to the man on the phone. he looked at her and made a motion that looked like he was writing something and she nodded and turned slightly grabbing a pen and paper behind her then handed it to him. he wrote something down and hung up.
"Hey Danielle," He said putting his phone down.
"Hey Nate," she said back.
"Oh Nate, this is Blake. he's a friend from school," Ashley said turning my gaze to her.
"Hi Blake," he said and I turned back to him.
"You all know each other?" I asked all of them.
"Oh yeah, Danielle and Ashley were the bestest friends you could ever meet," Nate said smiling.
"What?" I was so confused.
"Ok so when Danielle came over a week before we moved Nate told me I was going to go to a new school because we were moving..." Ashley explained and then Nate finished the rest,
"Then in Danielle's crazy little mind she decided she was going to move so she and Ashley could still be friends, very dumb," he said and shook his head. Danielle kicked him lightly on the shoulder with her mouth a gape.
I laughed slightly as he just called her very dumb.
"So do you guys want to go get started on that "project" for science" Ashley said putting emphasis on the word 'project'
"Sure," Danielle said catching on quickly.
"Ok have fun," Nate called up the stairs after us.
When we got up to Ash's room she jumped onto her bed quickly followed by Danielle while I stood there like an awkward goon.
"Ok so I haven't seen you for a month. is there anyone you have your eyes set on?" Danielle wriggles her eyebrows.
"No not yet... how about you miss nosy do like any one?" Ash asked taking another bite of her Apple.
"Well there is this guy... he's super cute and funny and he has the most amazing smile you could ever see," she exclaimed and for some reason I felt a sharp pang of jealousy. why? I have a mate somewhere that I have to find I could not get involved with a human.
Then before I knew it Danielle was tackled into the ground by a screeching Ashley.
"OH MY GOD! WHO IS IT?!!!!!!!!"

Ashley's POV

"Ok so I haven't seen you in a month. is there anyone you have your eyes set on?" Danielle asks.
My thoughts instantly revert to Cade.
"No... not yet. How about you miss nosy do you like anyone?" I asked her taking another bite of my apple.
"Well there's this guy...he's super cute and funny and has the most amazing smile you could ever see," Danielle rushed out smiling the whole time. I was so surprised I threw my apple onto the floor and tackled her off the bed.
"OH MY GOD! WHO IS IT?!!!!!!!!" I screamed.
Her eyes flickered to Blake for the slightest moment but I saw. when she looked at me a look of realization came onto her face and then next thing I knew I was on my back with Danielle's hand covering my mouth.
"If you tell anyone who it is, I swear to god I will take away all your lip glosses for eternity!!"she yelled pointing at me. I held my hands up in surrender and licked her palm laughing like a mad woman when she let go.
We sat back down on my bed and talked about what all we missed from each others life's. even Blake joined in but he wasn't his usual dorky self. he was more tensed and quiet like he was either jealous or constipated... I go with the first one... but jealous of what? Hmmmm....
