I got out of the pool with water dripping off my hair and down my stomach and legs. I headed over to where Dannie was relaxing in the hot tub and climbed in beside her.

"How much do you think he likes me?" She said suddenly.

"Uh... I don't know... why don't you ask him?" I asked not knowing what to say.

"I don't know..." She huffed sitting up and looking at me. "I like him. A lot. But even if I know he likes me he's never had a mate before so he doesn't know what it feels like. When I turn 16 and he figures out its not me I don't want to be the one that gets heart broken because he's a werewolf and I'm human," She said quietly.

"Dannie I know how it feels to have a mate and not know what it means and from the late night talks we've had I know you feel the exact same way I did before I was 16," I put my hand on her shoulder. She smiled and looked down to play with her hands in the water.

"Does it hurt? Feeling all the emotions for one person at one time?" She asked. I thought a moment and then answered.

"No. It feels like your eyes are opened up to the one person that's right for you and that has been right there for you through think and thin even if you haven't known them that long. Dannie, you and Blake are perfect for each other and I'm not just saying that because I think you guys are mates. I mean it and I'm really happy for you too," I said and she smiled brighter. She threw her arms around me and I hugged her back.

"I'm so glad your back Ash," She said when she pulled away. It was my turn to smile and then I heard a loud splash and I was hit with a wave of hot water.

"You stupid jerks!" I yelled and launched myself at the first person I saw. That person was Blake. I grabbed him and we both went under the water. His hands grabbed my waist in defense and pushed us both up to the surface.

"wrong person Ash," He said once we surfaced.

"No I didn't care who I got as long as one of you paid," I said grinning.

I was pulled away from Blake and onto a pair of broad shoulders. "CHICKEN FIGHT!!!!!!" Cade yelled getting out of the hot tub and back into the pool. The water was so cold after we've been in the hot water I almost got out.

Blake grabbed Dannie and put her on his shoulders. I was laughing hysterically when Dannie and I grabbed hands to try to push each other off.

Dannie went down first and Cade fell backwards to get me off.

"How are you so hyper with broken ribs? And aren't you supposed to be wearing wraps around them?" Blake said when we all started climbing out of the water.

"I don't feel anything. It doesn't hurt at all anymore so I took of the bandages," I shrugged wrapping a towel around my body.

"Some times I just don't get how girls work..." Blake mumbled as we all dried off.

"School tomorrow guys. Yay," Dannie said with no enthusiasm what so ever.

"Do you want to go?" Blake said turning to me.

"Do I ever?" I smiled. They could go to school while I stay home and not do anything. Yup. that sounds like the perfect plan.

"Great. It's settled then. We're all staying here," Blake grinned and we headed towards the door. Eh. That's ok too.

"are you excited about your birthday coming up?" I whispered to Dannie. Cade's head shot to me and he smirked.

"Secrets don't make friends Ash.." He said.

I leaned towards him and whispered "But friends make secrets," His smirk faded and it was my turn to smirk as I straightened up.

"Sort of. Kinda nervous..." She smiled sheepishly.

I new that she was only nervous because that's the night that we find out if she's Blake's mate or not. Even if she wasn't which she is, I'm not doubting that I'm just afraid that she wont know how to handle the mating process or the mating bond. I obviously didn't. 

'Cade?' I asked through our link.

'Yes?' He looked at me

'You know how we are talking through the bond right now right?' I started.

'Yeah' He said semi confused.

'Will Dannie get that too with Blake?' I asked.

'Most likely. If they are mates then we will have to except her into our pack. The only human ever In our pack' I like how he said "Our" pack like its our baby which it is his but I just joined the pack and I don't feel like I belong yet.

'Ok' I said and that was that.

"How about a movie?" Blake asked walking over to the t.v and pulling out a bunch of movie cases.

"sure," Dannie said getting up off the couch and walking towards him to look at the movies.

When we decided on Ouija we all got comfy and watched the mysterious board game movie occasionally hearing a small scream from Dannie as she buries her head into a blanket. Each time Blake grabs her and hugs her for awhile until her face turns red and she lets go.

Dannie is the kind of girl that acts tough but when she watches a scary movie then she gets all little girl and hides after a little yelp or two. Dannie also doesn't like coupley stuff if she's not dating the guy and she gets really shy. But I love her and she's my soul sister. Not connected by blood but by heart and soul. We are attached and insuperable.
