My rib was bruised and slightly cracked. I had just gone to the pack doctor and got it wrapped. My instructions were to lay in bed for about a week or so and replace the bandages daily.

I am now laying in my bed with Dannie sitting here telling me about how she can now be a spy for me. like how she would get us walkie talkies so I know exactly what's happening at everytime. Cade tried to postpone the date this Friday but I told him I could would stay in bed for another week if that meant I got to leave for one day.

Cade is back at the pack house cleaning up the party and Nate is still at work.

"when do you think Cade's gonna get back?" I asked suddenly interrupting her. 

She scowled at me and shrugged "I don't know why don't you ask him?" she said venomously.

she didn't talk for a couple minutes and I sighed "Dannie I'm sorry ok," I said sitting up and looking at her "its just I have the need to be with him and around him and even more so now considering we mated." I didn't expect her to know what mating was but her eyes widened and she squealed so loud my ear drums almost burst.

"When did this happen?!" she screamed and smiled forgetting everything that just happened.

"after the fight," I smiled remembering when he stopped the whole fight and told everyone that he loved me.

"did it hurt?" she asked quietly.

"no. it felt amazing," I smiled.

"how long did it take?" she looked at me pointedly

"why so many questions?" I smirked at her. oh god the smirking. IM TURNING INTO CADE!!!!!AHHHHH!

"i don't know,: she blushed and looked away.

I smiled "you so do!" I yelled.

"ok I do," she glared at me. "Its just if I really am Blake's mate I just wanted to know if it will hurt. Blake told me about it the other night but I didn't ask follow up questions.

"oh," was all I said but her smile returned.

"EEEEEEEEKKKKK," she squealed again and jumped into the air.

I screamed as loud as I possibly could as she came crashing down on top of me and we resulted in a fit od giggles.

I heard running and there in the doorway was a panicked looking Cade holding his chest and breathing heavily.

"what the hell?" he panted looking at us. "I-I heard you scream. you know what never mind," he closed his eyes and came and sat behind me on the bed "one of these days your going to give me a heart attack."

"sorry," I laughed as Dannie got off me.

"i thought you were dying," he hugged me a little bit.

"awe you cared about if I was dying?" I sighed over dramatically.

"no. if you were dead I wouldn't be able to win the bet," my face turned into a scowled and his arm tightened around my waist.

"I'm kidding," he laughed"so what are we talking about," He asked and Dannie I said "nothin," in unison.

"i need a bath," I sighed and Cade chuckled a little.

"I'll help," I could tell he was smirking.

"yeah right. I want Dannie to help way more than I want you to help," I said looking back at him.

he groaned and Dannie got up to go turn the water on in my bathroom.
