Right now Blake and I are the only two awake. we've watched seven movies and we have been watching the credits of the last one for three minutes now with the same agonizing tune.

I grabbed the remote and clicked the power button.

Blake chuckled. "thanks I was about to go insane," he sat up. "I'm not tiered are you?" He asked.

I shook my head and looked at Dannie sleeping soundlessly on his shoulder.

"Where are you two going on Friday?" I looked at him and he smiled.

"The new restaurant down town," he said and I nodded having no idea the there was a restaurant down town or what to say next. "where's Cade taking you on Friday?"

my eyes shot to him. how did he know. "uh... to the mountains," I stuttered out. "how'd yo-"

"hes my best friend you don't think he wouldn't have told me?" he stated.

we sat there for a few moments before I finally spoke. "do you want to go for a walk?"

"aren't you supposed  to be staying in bed for a week?" he asked pointedly.

"Well that was just a suggestion. c'mon. don't be a baby," I said standing up.

He sighed and stood up walking to the door with me.

We were walking for about eleven minutes before the bond open up.

I opened my side and his voice fluttered into my head.

'where are you?'

'stay calm wolfy. I'm just on a walk with Blake,'

'why didn't you wake me up to let me know?'

'Cade chill. you were just so peaceful and you probably would've either came or told me I cant go,'

'ok first your my mate. no duh I would've came and second I probably would've said you couldn't go with anyone other than Blake. Ash no matter what happens he will protect you with his life like you are his mate. He has high standards and I trust him with you. and I probably would've said no because your supposed to be in bed! Doctors orders!'

'I don't want either of us to feel trapped so we don't need to be together at all times. And I would do anything to protect him too. I love him already and I will beat anyone's ass if they try to come near him....And that was just a suggestion,'

'ok. see you when you two get back,'

'kay bye,'

"so do you want to head back?" I heard Blake ask from beside me.

"i guess," I replied and we made a U turn to go back.

"beat you there," he smiled and started running.

"hey no fair!" I called running after him. I quickly passed him and kept running. I could feel him on my heels and before I knew it I was being scooped up and thrown over his shoulder even with my aching rib I laughed like a maniac.

I was still on Blake's shoulder when we got home and Cade was waiting out front.

Blake saw Cade and set me down. "listen ma-" Cade cut him off.

"it ok. I don't care," Cade laughed.

"whew. I thought you were going to kill me," Blake said with relief.

"no I'm not going to kill you. besides Ash would probably hurt me If I did, "Cade smiled and I did too.

Blake laughed. "probably,"

"anyways lets get you back inside," Blake said putting his hand on the small of my back and ushering me inside.

"I'm fine guys. really. like I say. it doesn't hurt that much unless I do anything active except walking like running, tackling, swimming, jumping, skipping, galloping, and all that fun stuff..." I said naming random things I just thought would hurt and get them off my back.

"I don't think so... we are going to get you in bed with some Netflix and whatever other things girls like," Cade said pushing my to my room.

"Cade. I'm ok," I tried to say while I was pushed to my bed.

he laid me down and covered me up. I didn't realized how tired I was until he left the room. I quickly fell asleep.

When I woke up Blake and Cade were asleep downstairs and so I got dressed. grabbed my keys. my phone. and quietly went out the front door. I drove all the way to the pack house after I called Dannie to meet me there.

When I got there I knocked on the door and a lady opened the door. She saw me and bowed her head down.

"Hi I'm-" she cut me off.

"The soon the be luna," she smiled looking back at me.

Luna is what an Alpha's mate is called when they are mated and married. we've mated. but haven't even gone on one date.

"ok. umm... is Dannie here?" I asked when she let me in.

"yeah shes in her room," The lady said and walked off.

"thank you!" I called.

I ran upstairs to our room and saw her sitting on her bed holding up two dresses. one Red one and one dark blue one.

Her head whipped to me and she stood up, setting her dresses down.

"whats the matter? did he hurt you! How could he do that?!" she jumped to conclusions.

"No. Dannie. He didn't hurt me or anything. I just don't want to stay in bed all day and that's what they would've made me do," I laughed a little to lighten the mood.

"oh thank god. I thought I was going to have to kill someone in ten minutes," she said relieved.

I laughed and followed her back to the bed. "so what are you doing,?"

She lifted up the dresses. "trying to pick out a dress for my date," she said. the red one was longer than the blue one and it had two silk straps. The blue one was a short cocktail dress that was sparkly at the top and  not at the bottom with no straps.

"you should go with the blue one. it accents your eyes," I reached up and  felt the fabric.

"ok," she smiled and skipped to the bathroom to try it on.

I felt a stirring in my head and I knew Cade was waking up. I quickly closed the bond and ran to the door.

"uh Dannie?" I asked. Cade is going to be mad. My ribs don't even hurt that bad anymore.

"what's the matter?" She asked.

"Cade's waking up," I told her.

"tell him you dot want to be stuck in that house anymore with nothing to do," she stated.

"gee. why didn't I think of that?" I said sarcastically walking over to the bed.

"oh shut up," she laughed walking out of the bathroom.

"you look amazing Dannie," I said admiring her dress.

"really? thanks Ash," she smiled and did a little twirl.

Then the bond opened up. let all hell break lose...
