Felix's bed was an abnormally soft cushion of surely expensive mattresses and blankets, but Changbin didn't notice it. He was too busy panicking over the proximity to the person who he'd kissed just a day ago, and being in their bed. He had placed himself several feet away, despite the tension brewing in the distance.

And the awkward silence festered in the room too. Both of them were massive cowards, too scared to announce the obvious elephant taking up the room, the grey mammal participating as both an avid listener of the nonexistent conversation and a cockblocker. Placed directly in the space between them, shoving Changbin and Felix apart with its leathery grey skin.

Felix spoke up first, as he held far more confidence than Changbin could ever possess despite the ripped muscles claiming a falsehood of assertive masculinity. His muscles just served as a shield to the soft exterior hiding underneath, a shield that Felix had broken through with no effort whatsoever.

"What happens now?"

"What do you mean?" As soon as that left Changbin's mouth, he regretted it. It was pretty obvious what Felix was about to say, even if there was a tiny chance it was about something nonsensical. But Felix had always been straightforward, getting to whatever he wanted to say instead of dawdling like Changbin.

"Changbin, we literally kissed. I don't know what that means for you, but it's not just an everyday thing for me. I need to know if you want to move on like nothing happened or evolve on that," Felix elaborated, tone suddenly serious.

Oh. Changbin swallowed. He'd tried to avoid thinking about the kiss the night before, but Felix's touches over his chest, arms, waist, and face kept running through his mind. Pulling him deeper into the haze the younger always created, despite the desperate measures Changbin put up to ignore it. No matter how many times he blasted music into the poor shells of his ears or tried to bury his face in one of his favorite books, the resident tingling on his skin that the idol had created raged onwards. Every attempt to cleanse the touch was futile. Leaving him stuck not in regret, but in torment for possibly overstepping the fragile boundaries of the younger.

"What do you want to do?" was what he settled with, completely undecided. All Changbin knew is that he'd follow Felix to the end of the world, spend up all of his time just to make one of those brilliant smiles to grace the idol's face. He wasn't sure if it was platonic or romantic, but he certainly treasured Felix.

"Honestly?" Felix drew his knees up to his chest, hugging his legs close to his body and seemingly shrinking into a compact idol. "I do like you. I think that's pretty obvious by the way I kissed you. But at this point in my career, I really can't date someone. And I wish it could be different, but I'm at my absolute peak and I can't let anything distract me from that, as tempting as you are."

"I'm tempting?" Again, Changbin's mouth seemed to have a different agenda than his mind, speaking before thoughts could be processed and carefully filtered. But he couldn't help it, no one had ever called him tempting, and it had been so long since someone had wanted him for longer than a night of pleasure.

Felix blanked at him. "Yes? Look at you." The idol outstretched an arm, raking his pointer finger up and down Changbin's torso. "You're really beautiful, and so nice too. And the muscles! Who wouldn't be tempted by you?"

"You think that I'm beautiful?" Changbin was acting like a parrot now, repeating everything that escaped the idol's mouth. Everything that left those ravishing lips tore through him, a fleet of butterflies stirring up chaos in his insides.

"Changbin," Felix whispered slowly, scooting forwards to kneel directly in front of Changbin. Breaking the vow of space both had carefully left with one careful stride against the cushiony bed. His palms reached upwards to cradle Changbin's face. "You're breathtaking. I think that you are stunning, darling."
