Changbin woke up entangled with another person. Felix. Intertwined with Felix on their shared bed, the idol deep asleep with his puffed out cheeks and slightly open pouted lips. He vaguely remembered them falling asleep on separate sides of the bed after resuming Shrek, but here they were with Felix using him as his own personal pillow.

Felix was adorable like this. Void of the confidence he displayed when alone with Changbin or the fake childish cuteness he was forced into for his idol persona. Just him and his squishy features, accentuated by the constellations of freckles scattered across his face.

The idol stirred, mashing his cheek into Changbin's bare chest. Doe eyes opened, tired as they blinked to wash the sleep away. Felix's
eyelashes fluttered into the tender skin of his chest, soft as butterfly kisses.

Kisses. Memories of the previous night flooded Changbin's mind. Felix's lips running over the sensitive skin of his stomach while their hands interlocked together, kissing up his thighs but ending before it got to the region where they'd have to admit that they were something else. That they'd have to come to the conclusion that whatever they had was getting a bit too far, a tad too passionate to pretend that they stayed in the region of platonic gestures.

But that problem was pressed into the corner of Changbin's mind it resided in, the place reserved for important incidents that he didn't just want to deal with yet.

Right now, his attention was all dedicated to the little angel wrapped in his arms, who was slowly gaining consciousness.

"What time is it?" Felix groaned, and fuck— his morning voice was making Changbin feel something.

Changbin craned his neck to view the clock on the side table, "It's nine in the morning. You don't have anything planned today, do you?"

"Nope, the interview is in three days. This week, I get my much needed vacation time! Right before everything turns to absolute shit."

"That bad?"

"Yeah, the past comebacks have been me using recycled singles, besides Taste. This time, I need to release an album to stay popular. I already have some songs prepared, but I'm going to need a lot more in order to complete an album." Felix rolled over on to his back, yawning. "This is my last break before months of learning choreography, lyrics, and overseeing the producing of music. And even once the album drops, I'll have to participate in performances, interviews, and shows before the hype drops a bit."

He sat up, smiling down at Changbin, "You better make this week worth it."

"I'll try my hardest, but that's a whole lotta pressure you're dumping on me. Especially when I've never been to America, let alone LA."

"Well lucky for you, I've been to California several times. I love it here, everyone's so much more open and respectful— for the most part, at least."

"Then you should take me to your favorite places."

"Are you okay with driving for a bit? We could drive up north, visit the bay or something. I think you'd like it up there, and the drive on the coast is gorgeous."

"That sounds wonderful. Who would be driving?"

"I can, I got my license while on break because I wanted to feel some sense of accomplishment. I can probably ask the security and management to be in another car, so it can just be us, too."

"I would love that."

"Great! I'll make it fun, I promise. California is gorgeous, especially the coastal freeway."
