"Are we dooone yet?" Sophie groaned for the millionth time. Maybe if she annoyed him enough he'd let her go searching for Keefe, without having to learn this.
No such luck for Sophie Foster.
"No, we will be when you've learned the basics of weapons."
"Killjoy..."
Sandor raised an eyebrow, "Is that a human term?" Sophie rolled her eyes, "yup, and it's what you are."
"Humans are weird."
"That they are my friend, that they are."
Maybe she could stall him out of training?
"Let us continue with our lesson."
Crap, she jinxed it!
Sophie groaned, this was the absolute worst.
"Sandor, don't thy care for me? Lest I continue that of a lesson, I shall collapse of utmost exhaustion!" She told him, dramatically placing her free hand (left hand) on her forehead.
"Ahh, you must be learning Elven slang! That is what that was right?" Sandor seemed genuine about his question, but she couldn't help sighing in frustration at the squeaky voiced goblin's question.
"Now, show me your form!" Sandor ordered
Sophie groaned and got into her best fighting stance.
"Huh, no wonder you're bad at hitting the targets correctly. Your form sucks." Sophie laughed in surprise at Sandor's blunt commentary.
Sandor walked around her and started fixing her position, his rough hands scratching against her smooth skin.
"Ah, much better." Sophie couldn't help but notice this was the second time in a row that Sandor said 'Ah', seriously what was up with that?
Back to the problem at hand.
Step, step, stab, turn, and slash.
Okay, so she might've only learned how to stab and chop things without killing herself, but at least she knew the basics of sword training, right?
"You need to move quicker, in a real battle against real opponents and not unmoving dummies, you'd already be dead." Sandor told her.
Yeesh, you didn't expect me to be perfect at this did you?
Sophie focused her attention on trying (and most likely failing) to move faster (without falling over)...
Okay, so as you can see I have a habit of making short chapters, but I didn't want to get carried away, and I'm horrible at describing fighting, and (apparently) training scenes!
I'm sorry for making you all wait so long, I promise this fic will live on till it is finished!
I'm also sorry for the short chapter, if you have any questions about this fic I'll happily answer them.
I'm trying not to rush this, to slowly build the story but. It. Is. Hard!
I once again am sorry for IDK!
Love ya'll! ❤️
