Mopelola still hadn't called me since that encouter I had with her. When I got home that day I took a picture of my back, the injuries weren't much, it was mostly swollen up. I had being applying shea butter to it and now it's better. Besides that was two weeks ago, we were already in the fifth week and C.A was next week.

It's funny how none of my family members noticed something was wrong with me, well except my dad but it wasn't like I was going to tell him anything what's the point.

Omonye had gone back abroad last week and honestly my life is more peaceful. The house is back to it's quiet nature but it's not like I'm not used to it

I stared at the school building as the car drove inside. The finalist selection of ambassadors and prefects was this term, maybe after mid term break. Honestly I was scared, if I didn't make the cut then I don't know what I'll do to myself.

Last week had been rather quiet for me. I didn't stay much in school and I went home immediately after school because not only was I trying to recover physically I was also trying to recover emotionally and mentally. Those words that Mopelola said to me still tormented me till this very day.

I walked into the school building, the usual, head high, back straight, steps calculated. I was back to school, atleast in school I had friends. I really didn't want to come to school today but I knew if I didn't it will stain my clean attendance record. Yup, I had never missed a day of school right from JSS1.

This was all going to pay out in the end anyway. I get my post and my badge, get the respect I wanted even if I had to trade my freedom for this, to leave up to people's expectations then I will because that is who I am.

Adesuwa, the girl who doesn't disappoint.

Immediately I entered my class Bola came to hug me.

I love this girl.

"Suwa! I missed you oooooo. See I have gist for you" she said while dragging me towards our seat.
"Bola today is Monday" I said
"Ehn, Saturday and Sunday, 2 days, 48 hours, 2880 minutes, 172,800 sec-"
"I gee, I gee" I said cutting her off "Oya the gist"
"Ehn, do you know that Ola threw a party" she said

Party? Since when

"Basically it was not meant to be a party oooo but many people came sha, both the one that they invited and the one that they did not invite. It was meant to be just some guys hanging out but it turned to be a party sha. Plenty people came oo even people from other schools. I can't believe I missed it" she said

I wish I went

"But that is not even the main gist. So sha they were na playing dare or consequence, someone na dared Ola to kiss the person he thought was the most beautiful girl in the party. Ola na did it"

"I swear e shock me. Ola that use to do holy holy. I sha heard the girl gave him shenki, he asked her for her number but she just walked out. She's stupid, after kissing the guy you are na forming hard to get" she said and a loud long hiss sounded from her mouth

"Bola calm down oo" I said while laughing.
"Gosh I cannot believe I missed all this juicy gist. Leo was even there"
"Was Desmond there?" I found myself asking
"I don't think so. If not all the girls would have not even looked at Ola" Bola said blushing
"Bola don't tell me you like Desmond" I said smirking
"What happen, the boy is fine, rich, smart abeg leave me alone. If I can't get him then atleast let me be crush on him in peace" she said sounding defensive and I laughed.
