Jae couldn't forgive him or like him, but he saw that what he had done was, to him, entirely justified. It was all very careless and confused. They were careless people, Joffrey and Tywin, they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness, or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made. But there was no cleaning up the mess that was the Stark's massacre.

Sansa sobbed out clinging to Jae, she wouldnt leave his chambers, wouldnt eat, barely drank, she wanted to drown herself in her tears for they were never ending.

She tried to hold tight to the fact that Jae was a man of his word and he would get her out of here but expectations were like fine pottery. The harder you held them, the more likely they were to crack.

''You need to eat some thing.' shae told Sansa 'pigeon pie?'' she offered

'No thank you.' Sansa answered stiffly. Jae was trying to make his contraption work and seeing Sansa dive deeper and deeper into depression, he didnt know what to do yet again to help her. Shae looked around

'Lemon cakes that is your favorite.' shae put it in front of her.

''No thank you.' Sansa repeated dully.

''You love lemon cakes!' shae reminded her 'please tell her she needs to eat!' shae told Tyrion as he came up to them. he looked over to sansa, Tyrion didnt know how to help, he knew his family was responsible.

''My lady you do need to eat.' Tyrion encouraged

''I do not need to eat.' she corrected sternly.

''If I could have a moment alone with my wife.' the other handmaiden left while shae stayed at sansa's side. Tyrion pleaded with her silently to give them a moment, begrudgingly shae left.

'she needs to eat.' she called over her shoulder

''I cannot let you starve I swore to protect you.' tyrion told her 'my lady... I am your husband whether you like me or not. Let me help you.''

''How can you help me?'' Sansa countered her knees tucked up into her chest, her eyes met his.

''I don't know but I can try.''

''I've been awake all night staring at the canopy thinking about how they died.' Sansa informed him.

''I could get you the essence of nightshade to help you sleep.' tyrion offered

''Do you know what they did to my brother? How they sewed his dire wolfs head onto his body and my mother they say they cut her throat to the bone....''

''What happened to your family was a terrible crime I did not know your brother but he seems like a good man your mother on the other hand I admired her.... she wanted to have me executed but I admired her. She was a strong woman and she was fierce when it came to protecting her children.' sansa nodded a tear falling down her face 'Sansa... Your mother would want you to carry on you know it is true.''

''would you pardon me my Lord I need to visit the sept.'' sansa said getting up.

'Of course I hear prayer can be-''

''No my Lord I do not pray anymore it is the only place I can go with people don't talk to me.' she told him walking away. Jae found Sansa at the sept just like Tyrion had said and Jae pulled sansa to him.

"I dont want to dance Jae." Sansa whispered.

"Yes you do," Jae corrected as Sansa rested her cheek against his chest, her hand in his, her eyes fluttered closed and she breathed him in. He held her as they swayed in the empty sept.

"Where did you learn to dance?" Sansa questioned, Jae huffed a laughed.

"My mom taught me some basics when I was little. She claimed a good man could win any woman over with smooth moves," Jae remarked, Sansa smiled back at him softly. "at least that was her excuse for falling for my father."

"They sound like they were happy." Sansa remarked. Jae nodded softly resting his forehead against her.

"Very," Jae agreed. She smiled before tucking her head back against his chest.

"You don't talk about them... your parents." Sansa whispered.

"They were good people. Now they are gone." Jae offered simply.

"Like my parents." Sansa agreed. Jae nodded holding her closer. "Jae... take this pain away." Sansa begged.

Jae drifted his hand up her back and into her hair, softly tugging her head back, so he could lean in for a taste. Her glossy lips parted, and he was inches from heaven when she pulled away.

"We are in the sept," Sansa whispered. Jae nodded leading her up the steps.

"All alone too." Jae remarked. "Sansa, do you take Jae gatsby-"

"What are you doing?" Sansa questioned holding onto his hand.

"Do you take Jae Gatsby to be your mistress, to have and to hold-" Jae went on and Sansa laughed out.

"I would rather be like Aegon the conqueror and take a second husband, toss Tyrion aside." Sansa remarked honestly.

"Even better." Jae agreed. "Sansa Stark do you take Jae Gatsby-"

"Yes." Sansa agreed kissing him.  "And do you-" Sansa began as she pulled back from the kiss. "Jae Gatsby, take Sansa Stark-"

"Yes." Jae agreed kissing her again. "got to make it official." Jae declared pulling his cloak off and wrapping it around her shoulders.

"How did you do that?" Sansa whispered against him.

"Do what?" Jae countered.

"Make me smile so easily." Sansa offered. He kissed her again before turning towards their imaginary audience.

"I now officially pronounce you Sansa Stark Gatsby, first of her name, queen of my heart."
