'Lord Stark.' Varys said, greeting him in the small council room.

'Lord Varys' ned greeted him. Varys clutched at neds hands

'I was very sorry to hear about the troubles you had on Kings Road, we are all praying for Prince Joffrey's full recovery.' Varys told him.

'Shame you didn't say a prayer for the butchers son,' Ned remarked, 'Renly you are looking well,' Ned remarked.

'And you are looking tired, you spent a long time on the road.' Renly remarked.

'But then we have a kingdom to look after.' Ned added.

"Lord gatsby joining us?" Renly pondered. "I heard he was coming back to the capital."

"I wasnt aware he was on the council." Ned countered.

"I mean I'm sure he would give his input." Petyr offered with a huff.

"In the most respectful of ways." Varys added.

"WHile making us all feel like failures." Renly agreed with a laugh.

"Then I suppose its good he isnt here." Ned agreed. "He is getting settled." Ned locked eyes on Petyr. ''I hope to meet you for some time Lord Baelish,.'' Ned said hesitantly.

'No doubt lady Catelyn has mentioned me.' Petyr said happily.

'She has lord Baelish I understand you knew my brother Brandon as well.' Ned said slightly smug.

'All too well, I still carry a token of his esteem from stomach to collarbone.' Petyr traced up his chest.

'Perhaps you shouldn't have chosen my brother to duel with.' Ned remarked

'The man that I chose was a worthy opponent for the woman I was fighting for. I'm sure you would agree?' Ned just looked over at Petyr with distaste. He loved his wife and Petyr was obviously up to something he could see it in his squirely eyes.

''I hungrily beg your pardon,' Maester Pycelle said

''grand Maester,' ned said looking to the man.

''How many years has it been? You were a young man.' Pycelle noted.

''And you served another king,' Ned reminded him. Pycelle had been on the council when his brother and father were burned at King Aerys hand. Pycelle offered him a tight smile. Let bygones be bygones he hoped would be the motto of their council meetings from here on out.

''Oh how forgetful of me,' he reached into his pocket pulling out the hand of the King pin, giving it to Ned.

'Wonderful..." Ned stared down at it, it was an honor but something he didnt think he really wanted... but then again he got to be king in a sense, he got to rule. He fisted the pin before looking around the group. "Shall we begin?'

"Could we visit the manor?" Sansa pondered.

"I would like that." Jae agreed. "But I warn you, you might never want to leave." Sansa smiled back at him liking that idea already.

"Do you think I'm going to be good queen?"

"I think you are going to be a great queen." Jae agreed. "You are young, the king is relatively healthy, you have plenty of time before that weight is placed on your shoulders." Jae added and Sansa nodded.

"If you were to ever have children... get married... would you marry them off?" Sansa pondered.

"Never." Jae said without hesitation. "You should marry for love. That's why I havent wed yet. Also didnt have anyone demanding me give up that precious choice of forgoing love for political gain."

"My father... I thought maybe I wanted to be... I always wanted to be a princess." Sansa admitted after a few failed sentences. "But I dont know, now that I'm here, it just doesnt feel as magical as I had hoped." Sansa offered.

"Give it time, you just got here. You dont know your betrothed well." Jae offered. "Let love grow."
