There is surely a football game if there is a basketball game, right?

"Go! Wildcats Go!"

The cheerleaders on the sidelines boom their manly inner voice cheering on the football team's.

I see Blake's jersey as he runs towards the middle of the pitch and Trevor is sitting in a wheelchair on the sidelines.

Sighing, I decide to walk back indoors to get some snacks. It's a pretty crowded area but I don't give a single damn.

I'm gonna get my nachos regardless.

"Thank you." I tell the cashier as I collect my snacks. I opt on sitting on an empty bench as I watch the hustling and bustling of the crowd.

A familiar build sits right next to me and I scooch further to give him space.

"Aurelia." The voice beams, putting his tatted hands into his puffer coat.

"Roman." I breathe out turning to look at him.

"I didn't know you were interested in college football." I smile and he does it back, two of his dimples make an appearance.

"Why would I not?" He asks staring at me, "I don't know. I thought you were a Hockey kind of guy." I say and he looks at me in amusement, "Hockey? Yeah, no." He shook his head in disapproval.

His gaze shifted to my food. When his right hand reached for a nacho, I slapped it away.

"Sir, I do not share my food."

Something dark flashes in his eyes before saying, "I'm sorry." with a smile.

"I should've asked first." He drew his attention to the people passing by in front of him.

"How've you been?" I derail the conversation. He looks back at me, "You're here now, so it's better. Are you doing well?

"I've had better days." I say choosing to not disclose too much information.

A petite figure stands in-front of us.

Riley.

"You guys look a lil too comfortable to be professor and student." She tilted her head to the side.

The look on Roman's face was the most monotonous I have ever seen.

I guess we both chose to not say anything, leaving Riley standing in an awkward position.

"Aurelia." She squeeked acknowledging me, "Why is a bookworm at a game? You should be reading."

"And you? Mr. Sanchez. Aren't you supposed to be grading papers or something?" She folds her arms into her chest.

"And would you mind telling me what's going on with you, Ms. Chimney? Are you forgetting that the homework you still need to submit hasn't been handed to me?"

"Yet." She shifted her weight onto her other leg.

"Yet?" Roman humoured, "It's due today at 12AM Midnight. It is currently 5:30PM." He glanced at his expensive watch.

"Well, I will be doing it after the game." She made an excuse, "You and I both know that's a lie." He said and she curled her lips, "It's a four-thousand word essay on Thermodynamic Laws and Statistical Mechanics. You won't finish that in seven hours. Not unless you're like Aurelia over here." He gestured his head towards me.

Oh?

Her nose flared as she turned her gaze towards me, she leaned in fanning her dark slender finger in my face. The mood of the stadium changed suddenly as if a frightful soundtrack played. "I will be first in his class, I promise."

Her dramatic film-suspense act was cut short by Roman, who couldn't help but guffaw at her utterances.

Riley embarrassingly backed up and walked away.

"I'm guessing she isn't the first in your class." I say and he nodded settling back into the seat.

Manspreading, of course.

There was a pregnant silence between us.

"How'd the date go?" He asked out of nowhere causing me to chew my chips a bit slower.

"What do you mean?" I question and he raised his eyebrows, "The date you didn't want to talk about." He clarified. "It was good until I found something out that same night." I chuckled.

He's still keen on listening to what I have to say, "I talked to Blake. He told me who spread the rumors."

His aura then changed, making him sit up straight and plopping his elbows to his knees while facing me.

"He told me that Leon is involved." I said.

"Leon? Alright." He nods his head standing up.

"Where are you going? What're you going to do?" I ask, "I'll be right back angel. Just sit tight." His back turned and he walked away into the depths of the crowd.
