"The problem is," He said as he leaned in, "If I kissed you, I won't be able to stop."
I shift my weight onto my other leg, "You wouldn't know if you don't...

"My name is Java." She smiles at me. Her eyes are so alluring. It's almost a dreadful feeling must I say.
They hold a sense of homeness—if that even makes sense.
In the midst of my thoughts, Madelyn couldn't help but snicker, "Like Minecraft Java or?"
Yeah, that same Madelyn that got kicked out of Mr. Sanchez's class for saying "I'm not your bruh, bruh."
Java mean mugged her, "You're not funny."
Madelyn's hands were clutched tightly to her chest as she faked tears, "What do you mean I'm not funny? You know I am." She said. Then, her playful tears came to a stop and a wink emerged from her face as she turned, swaying her hips walking away while pointing her finger at Java.
Our heads follow her direction, "She really is a character isn't she?" I say and Java silently agreed.
I've made a friend.
Clap for me, will you.
Anyways, I'm at the afterparty.
Although I mentioned parties weren't really my thing, I'll settle for a few this year since it's my last—and as a first-time attendee, I ought to enjoy myself.
"Here's a drink." A random douche offered me.
I glanced at the contents inside... it was green.
Maybe I will give it a try..
Hold up.
Was it really your expectation that I would drink it?
Don't take me for a fool.
Immediately, I scrunch up my face and push the cup away from my face.
He just shrugged, downing the whole cup alongside Java who takes a sip of her own.
"Ew, Java. Please tell me you are not drinking that green and infested beverage!"
"It's not infested." The man uttered as I stayed silent, glancing at him up and down in a judgmental way.
More like, the African way.
He took the sign and left.
As he should.
"Don't worry, babe. It's green Jolly Rancher soda." She said and I dramatically released a breathe.
Amidst my thoughts, I had almost forgotten this was Leon's party. I know, probably not the right host to pick to go for a house party .
I couldn't help but realize for the past hour he hasn't been around.
A host has to be present at their own party, right?
"Hey uhm, isn't Leon supposed to be here? It's his party after all." I ask.
"He's not here." She says and I furrow my eyebrows, "He got suspended and his role as the captain of the basketball team got revoked."
