"The problem is," He said as he leaned in, "If I kissed you, I won't be able to stop."
I shift my weight onto my other leg, "You wouldn't know if you don't...

Let's just keep it short and cute by saying I beat Riley's ass yesterday. She really did try to knock a punch but the Nigerian in me mopped her ass.
I left the library with mild scratches and surprisingly, I didn't get in trouble. Trevor tried to jump in when he saw that she was losing but I soccer punched him in the face and he fell unconscious.
Blake on the other hand just watched the fight go down. He didn't even try to help Trevor who had collapsed onto the floor.
Let's give him a round of applause for being such a good friend.
After I whopped Riley's ass, I took a few steps back to observe the scene. Her hair was tangled up and disheveled. Her right eye was swollen and has definitely turned into a black eye as we speak.
It's really how I rocked her shi despite having an aching ankle and mild back problems.
Maurice ended up stopping the fight when Riley commanded we go a second round. She called the ambulance and they took Trevor and Riley to the ER to treat their injuries.
I ended up staying back to finish off reading my book while Blake just watched me the whole time. "You did a good job. I knew you were gonna win." He smirks. I was taken aback by his comment so of course, I said nothing.
"I know you don't like me but—" I cut him off, "I love the fact that your self aware but please stop talking to me." I seethe.
He leans back into his chair with his eyes still on me. I pay him no mind focusing my attention back on my book. My mind then flashes back to the rumor that I wanted to beat up Blake, Trevor, and Riley.
That's one dumbass rumor if you ask me but I was still curious to know who was stupid enough to spread false information about me and judging by the fact that I live a non existent social life, it would be hard to tell who did. So, as a result, my only option is to ask Blake who I despise very, very much.
"Who spread that rumor about me?" I question looking up at him. "What rumor?" He says, "You know what I'm taking about, Blake." His body tensed when I said his name, "So, who did it? I wouldn't dare fight you and your friends because you and I both know that I'm a 'freak loser' with no social life."
He chews on the side of mouth befitting sucking in a breath, "I.. I don't know." He shakes his head. "You know that I don't have Instagram. You know that I have no friends. I'm not stupid Blake, and neither are you."
"I don't know bruh. I'll let you know when I know who did it." He tells me but I can tell he's lying.
"Forget it." Shaking my head I put my book into my book bag, "Where are you going?" He furrows his eyebrows, "That's none of your business." I tell him striding out of the library.
"I'm not going to let you walk home alone." He raises his voice catching up to me. "Who said I was going home and even if I was, why would I let you out of all people accompany me?" My steps come to a halt.
He sucks in a breath, "I just want you to be safe, that's all." He shrugs. "I don't need your protection. Leave." I tell him walking away. I put my earphones into my ears and play some music to calm down my nerves. I can feel his gaze behind me but I'm not going to let it stop me from going where I need to be.
Which is home, I mentally shrug.
After 10 minutes, I step foot onto my driveway. Classes end early for me on Wednesdays so I just end up coming home. Before I could even open the door, my mother does it herself. She stares at me with a look I cannot decipher and I remove my earphones, "What's wrong?" I ask.
"What's wrong?!" She folds her arms over her chest. "You got into a fight at the library!" She raises her voice, "Okay?" I question, "Okay?? Aurelia! You got into a fight today and all you have to say is okay?" She questions in disbelief. "Ma, it isn't that serious. All she did was—" She removes her slipper, "Wait no! Let me explain myself!" I shout.
She slowly puts it down waiting for my explanation, "I went to the library to get my mind off of what happened in Biophysics." I start and she raises her eyebrows, "What happened in Biophysics?"
I sigh, "Riley—" And she chuckles, which confuses me. "Riley? Eh. That.. that delusional brunette headed girl who was giving you problems Freshman year?" She says in disbelief. "Yes, that Riley." I say and she drops her slipper onto the ground.
It's silent for about eight seconds as she stares into nothing, "Mom, what happened?" My patience is running thin, "Do you know what the Dean told me?" She runs her tongue over her upper teeth, "What did they tell you?" I bite my lip, "That you initiated the fight between her, a boy named Trevor, and Blake who is the caption of the Football team. They said you kept gossiping about them with your friends saying that you will kill them, beat them up and whatnot."
I say nothing but stare at her.
Instead of tears brimming my eyes, I clutch my jaw in anger. The false rumors burn anger in me like a blazing furnace, I could blow up. "Lies." My eye twitches. "Those.. are all lies!"
"Aurelia. When they told me what you did I was in disbelief. How? My daughter?" She points to herself. "Noo," She drags, "Not mine." She waves her finger in the air. "Not mine."
