Chapter 6 "Friends Forever"
Wally ran away, he wanted to scream, he wanted to cry, but all he could do was run. He ran until he found the tree he'd sat under the first night. He fell to his knees and grabbed the blade out of his pocket, this time rolling up his other sleeve.
One.. for letting those thoughts get to him
Two.. for letting his friends find out
Three.. For letting Barnaby find out
Four.. for letting house get away with all of this
Five.. for being to scared to face his friends
Six.. for being so pathetic
He started to cry, he was shaking, there was blood on his wrists and he was still lightheaded. He screamed. Barnaby heard him and ran over, stopping dead in his tracks when he saw Wally sitting there, bleeding and crying.
"Wally.." he said through tears. Wally turned and looked Barnaby in the eyes. "I.." he started "I'm sorry!" he said shaking. Barnaby walked over and sat next time him. "No." he said, Wally looking at him, confused. "I'm sorry.." Barnaby said. "You.. you're sorry? For what..?" Wally said softly. "For not being there to help you.. For not listening to you, for not noticing sooner! FOR NOT-" Barnaby started to become frantic, and Wally grabbed his hand. "Breathe Barnaby.." Barnaby looked at him tears running down his cheeks and soaking into his fur. He started to breathe slowly counting to three each time.
"Heh.." Barnaby laughed trying to change the mood. Remember the first time we met..? when you thought me that trick because I was so anxious about meeting you..?" Wally looked down, "Yeah.. I do.." Wally thought about that day. "You were so frantic I was actually starting to panic myself, I tried to think of something to make you feel better but all I could think of was this breathing thing I did when I was frantic." Wally laughed and smiled genuinely at the thought.
Barnaby look down and smiled, "Remember that day you made me that drawing and left it on my doorstep for me to find but it started to rain and hot all wet?" Wally looked confused, "No, I don't remember that actually." Wally was trying to think about it when Barnaby continued. "Yeah!" he said happily "You made a drawing of me and you and the word 'BFFS' with a little heart around it, and you were so upset that it got destroyed, so I decided to make one for you!"
Wally thought for a moment before gasping and pulling a small piece of paper from his pocket and unfolding it.

"This..?" Wally asked. "Oh my goodness!!" Barnaby shrieked, "You still have it!?" he said happily. "yeah.. I do.." Wally said, "It means a lot to me.." He looked at Barnaby and smiled, Barnaby smiled back and wrapped his hand around him.
Wally flinched when Barnaby did this but said nothing, Barnabys smile faded a bit when Wally did this but he didn't say anything. He liked this moment. Happy, remembering good things, not bad.. he Loved this, and he loved Wally. Wally was his best friend. He wanted to get revenge on house for hurting his best friend.. Barnaby closed his eyes, Wally did the same. Before Wally fell asleep he said "Thank you.. friend.." Barnaby faintly smiling before falling asleep along with Wally.
