Before you start reading the story, there are a few things you need to know.
First, I'll be following the Japanese name order (surname then name. Eg Dazai Osamu), except for full english names.
Second, the reader's name is Arisu Kanae (有栖 かな慧). It makes it easier for me to write a character with a name instead of using (Y/N) as I will get confused. You can replace your name with the character's name if you want to as you read.
Arisu (有栖) is from the Japanese mystery author, Arisugawa Arisu (有栖川 有栖) and Kanae (かな慧) is from another Japanese mystery author, Minato Kanae (湊 かなえ).
Third, Arisu Kanae's ability is called 'Mad Hatter'. The ability allows her to bend reality. For example, she can make people hallucinate. She can define the laws of physics, like making a bullet go U turn back to the shooter.
Fourth, the grammar is corrected by google, so hopefully there isn't any mistakes.
Fifth, both Dazai and Arisu are 17 years old.
