"I wonder why Mori san would want to see both of us," Kanae wondered when she's in the lift with Dazai. The lift moved up.
"Maybe he has another mission for us? And why are you wearing so fancy today?" Dazai asked, looking at Kanae's outfit.
Kanae wore a hakama with traditional Japanese hair accessories instead of a hat.

*Hakama (袴) allows more movement because the bottom part is trousers.
Kanae: Well, I bumped into Koyo nee-san earlier on and she wanted to dress me up in a hakama. I agreed since it has been a long time since I wore one. I want to wear it often, since it looks so pretty.
Dazai: And you didn't wear your elegant hat.
Kanae: It doesn't seem to go well with the hakama. But aren't you usually paired with Chuya? Why would Mori san call us for a mission together?
Dazai: Who knows. How long did Ane-san take to dress you up?
Kanae: An hour maybe? She had to do my hair as well.
Dazai: It'll be all ruined if you're out on a mission.
Kanae: It won't, how do you think nee-san has her hair and kimono perfectly intact even after a mission.
Dazai: That's true.
The lift reached the top floor and the door opened. They walked to Mori's office. Once the door was opened, they walked in.
"Dazai kun, Arisu kun, I have a mission for both of you. Lately, there's been an organisation that has been trying to enter Yokohama. If the organisation does, it will affect the Mafia's transactions. I need both of you to get rid of them," Mori ordered.
"Yes, (わかった)" Dazai and Kanae said.
They left the Mafia's building after Mori dismissed them.
"Let's go to the port and start investigating. Mori san said that one of our ports has been taken away," Kanae suggested.
They both arrived at the port not so long after.
When Kanae was about to go near the port, Dazai pulled her back.
"What are you doing?" Kanae asked not knowing why Dazai pulled her back.
"Someone is unloading their stock," Dazai explained.
Kanae: This is the Mafia's port. Is this the organisation that Mori san told us to get rid of?
Dazai: I think so.
Kanae: I have a tracker we can place to track where the stock is going.
Dazai nodded for Kanae to go and place the tracker on the stock. Kanae waited when there's no one and placed the tracker at an unnoticeable place in the stock.
Kanae went back into hiding when the people came and took the stock away.
"Now we just have to wait and see where the stock goes," Kanae said and took out the monitor.
They traced down who bought the stock from online. The stock was bought by one of the smaller criminal organisations.
Dazai and Kanae burst into the base. The members of the organisation started to retaliate, but Kanae and Dazai fought them off. Dazai captured their leader and interrogated him.
"The name of the organisation that you bought this from," Dazai asked with a cold tone and pointed towards the stock.
"The...the Shining..." The leader blurted out, afraid of the Demon Prodigy.
"Who's their leader?" Dazai asked again, with the same cold tone.
"I...I don't know..." The leader replied.
"Leave him, Dazai, I doubt he knows much about the organisation," Kanae said.
Dazai and Kanae left and they traced where the stock went to. The stock was in a small base near the outskirts of Yokohama.
"Well, this is either a trap or an actual base, and I'm sure it's the first one," Kanae said, looking at the base that's in front of her.
Dazai: I think so too. Are you sure you can fight and defend yourself wearing the hakama?
Kanae: I'm sure I'll be fine. This is not the first time I wore a hakama and fought.
Dazai: Shall we go in?
Kanae nodded and they both went in together.
It was dark inside. The only source of light was a candle.
Kanae decided to use her ability. She changed the laws of physics. She made the candle dark and the room bright.
They then realised that they walked into the trap. Out of nowhere, Kanae was punched hard in the stomach.
"Ouch, that hurts you know," Kanae said and got up.
Just when Dazai was about to get punched, his ability activated and a person stood in front of Dazai.
"Interesting, an ability that allows you to move at the speed of light. The whole purpose of the candle placed there was to let Kanae use her ability to turn the room bright, so that we can't see you attacking us. Your movement leaves a light trail in the dark, so you have to light the room up," Dazai deduced.
The ability user didn't say anything. Dazai didn't let go of the ability user.
Kanae went to the computer and tried to find any relevant information about The Shining.
Just before she could read out the information she found, the data files automatically started to erase. Kanae tried to stop it, but all she could read was the name of the leader of The Shining before all the data of the organisation was erased.
"Did you find anything?" Dazai asked, still holding onto the ability user.
"Just the name of the leader of The Shining," Kanae said, shaking her head at the lack of information.
