"Do you have the database, suicidal maniac?" Chuya asked as he, Dazai and Kanae went to the boss's office to report on last night's mission.
"Of course I have it, slug," Dazai tiredly said.
"Slug?! I'm not a slug, you are!" Chuya quickly retorted.
Kanae walked silently. She wore a black derby hat with white flowers today.

Chuya: Arisu san, how did you find where Nonaka was?
Kanae: Just Arisu is fine. Arisu san sounds old.
Chuya: Then Arisu, how did you find where Nonaka was?
Kanae: Simple, I made one of the guards believe that they're mad!
Kanae replied to Chuya cheerfully.
No one spoke after that.
They arrived at Mori's office. The guards opened the door for the three of them.
"So, I assume Nonaka is dead and the database has been retrieved?" Mori asked, sitting on his arm chair as usual.
Dazai placed the database on Mori's table.
He and Kanae briefly reported about the mission last night before being dismissed. Mori ordered Chuya to stay behind.
Dazai and Kanae entered the lift. It was silent, no one said a word.
"Did you use any poisons?" Dazai asked, breaking the silence.
Kanae: Of course. I threw a needle containing amphetamine.
Dazai: What is that?
Kanae: A central nervous system stimulant that causes hypertension. It makes the victim have increased confidence, sociability and energy.
Dazai: I'm curious, how do you know so much about poisons?
Kanae didn't reply.
The lift door opened and they both stepped out.
Dazai: Arisu, what's your ability?
Kanae: I'm not obligated to tell you.
Dazai: Come on! Tell me!
Kanae: No.
Dazai: Tell me, tell me!
Kanae: Not happening.
Dazai followed Kanae while he kept on asking about her ability. Kanae finds Dazai's questions annoying and irritating.
"I have a meeting with someone, excuse me," Kanae said and left the mafia building. However, Dazai followed her every step. Kanae tried to shake Dazai off, but it was no use. Dazai would somehow find Kanae and continue to follow her. This greatly annoyed Kanae.
Kanae arrived at the meeting place. The meeting place is called "Freedom". Its speciality is curry.
Kanae entered the restaurant.
"Odasaku, I'm here!" Kanae announced.
"Kanae, you're here," Oda turned towards Kanae from his curry. He then noticed Dazai behind her. "Dazai, I didn't know you were coming as well."
"Haa??!! (はあっ??!!)" Both Dazai and Kanae looked at each other, surprised that Oda knew them both.
"Odasaku! You never told me that you knew this annoying idiot," Kanae said while whining like a child.
