"Look sharp heroes, we got another mission and this one is urgent!" Vesper's voice echoed through the speakers. "Meet up at the lobby!"
Tex rolled onto her side and yawned. "Whew, they really know how to wake someone up from a deep sleep. Guess we should get going, girls." She slipped on her jeans and holster, pulled up the pair of boots, and slipped her hat on. Her eyes darted to the left where Cheyanne and Lucy slept. "Partners, you still asleep?"
Lucy groaned before stretching her wings out. "Is it time for another job already?"
"Ugh, I need some coffee." Cheyanne rubbed her eyes and rose from the bed. "Anything to wake me up for this next mission."
"Geez, you two spent a lot of time training last night after you got home. Did you miss a lot of sleep?" Tex asked. Soon she loaded her guns, her boots squeaked on the hard floor and she rustled her jeans.
Cheyanne nodded as she brushed her hair and slipped on the hero suit. "We stayed up longer than we should have but it was fun. My servants are getting stronger by the day, too."
"It's true, I was working up a sweat while fighting them last night. They sure are adapting quickly to the fighting. I may have to go dark form soon." Lucy folded her wings while dressing herself. "You two think this mission will be over quickly? I'd love to come back and sleep in more."
Tex shrugged as she opened the door. "Vesper sounded urgent so it might be a tough one."
Lucy rolled her shoulders and clasped her hands. "Well, I may get more involved so we can get this one over with." Her wings fluttered while they traveled down to the elevator.
"Don't speed through this one, I need to test my powers out still," Cheyanne smirked at her.
"Oh, there you are." Psy held a hand to them. "We were wondering where you were last night. Didn't hear a peep so maybe thought you were snoozing." She chuckled.
Princess leaned against the wall and whistled. "I told you they were probably tired, Psy. Here you need some of this." Her eyes closed and a cup of coffee manifested in Cheyanne's hand.
Cheyanne quickly sipped on it and exhaled. "Ah, thanks that hit the spot! How did you know I wanted a cup of coffee though?"
"You're welcome! I just felt it through your emotions and figured you needed coffee." Princess giggled.
The group left the elevator when they reached the main lobby. Vesper stood with Roxanne as they chatted with the other heroes. A red dot emerged on the screen above them and flashed every few seconds.
"Great, everyone is here and accounted for. We have multiple reports that a set of bombs are being planted near a set of explosive chemicals. There is no idea why they are doing this but it is next to a national park full of wildlife." Vesper narrowed her eyes.
"Yes, we know the group of villains behind this scheme is highly dangerous, too. Please don't let them get away with this." Roxanne bowed her head and leaned on Vesper.
Surge folded his arms and nodded. "No need to worry, we will handle this promptly. How should we travel there?"
Vesper adjusted her glasses and inhaled. "Jets again but this is because of how urgent the mission is. The park is in Montana, there aren't many people there but please do keep the damage to a minimum."
"Easy, I'll have it done before those villains can even laugh about blowing up those chemicals." Glacier held a hand to her chest as the air grew cool. Her eyes drifted over to Cheyanne when she frowned and faced away. "Just can't speak the same for the others on our team."
