Lucy searched over the city until she reached the warehouse. With a heavy thud, she landed in front of the entrance and scared the truckers. Her wings folded while she headed into the building.

"Whew, I wasn't sure if I'd still find you here but I made it. What'd I miss?" She asked.

"Oh, you know. Showing off my new powers and kicking ass." Cheyanne fluffed her hair up and smirked. "So where were you at? Chasing after a new girlfriend?"

Lucy's face reddened before she shook her head. "That's not it! The girl was just suspicious and I wanted to ask why she knew some things. But she got away so I can't be bothered to chase down someone not on our list." She exhaled.

Tex shrugged while smoking a cigar. "Don't fret about it. If she's serious then we'll run into her again. Why don't we get back to the agency before we get another one to do."

"Right, the cops just pulled up and we already filed the reports. Let's get back home!" Psy exclaimed.

"Kind of a shame that the others weren't here to witness my greatest display of power. Maybe someone caught us on tape." Cheyanne soon pulled on her body suit and stood up from the box.

The group returned to the helicopter and flew back to the hero agency. Once they landed, they reached the main lobby where Seleph stood. She held a sandwich to her mouth when she set it down.

"Welcome back, I wasn't expecting you all to be here so soon. Guess we should've got you some dinner, huh?" Seleph quickly wrapped her sandwich up. Her eyes darted to the screen and flicked it on. "Your reports came in with great results and I must applaud you for keeping it consistent."

"It's great to see you back, girls!" Princess waved to them and pointed to a table. "I thought up some food for you as a celebration. Come dig in, I bet you're exhausted!" She exclaimed.

Lucy dashed to the table and bowed to her. "Thanks, I got tired of running around that city."

Tex retrieved a bottle of booze. "Same here, after you left me all alone. Why don't we get wasted a little." She chuckled.

"Before you do that, there's an announcement that I need to make for all the heroes." Seleph slipped her hat on and pressed a button. The siren blared and within minutes the other heroes left the elevator.

"Oh, great. Look who decided to show up." Cheyanne whispered with a frown.

Psy leaned back in her seat and yawned. "Hopefully they will bug off and we don't have to look at their ugly faces." She snickered.

Glacier soon approached the group with a scowl. "Took you long enough, I would've been back hours sooner. Now what is this announcement we have to come down for?"

"Yes, I was given a new thing for you all to participate in. This won't be related to the helpers but to all the heroes who have done missions so far." Seleph stood in front of the screen with both hands behind her. "Think of it as a ranking for all your hero work and how the government values you as one. Don't be offended if you get the ranking you didn't want. It will change every week so relax." She exhaled.

"Rankings? I can only guess this will make us more competitive." Inferno held a hand to his forehead. "It'd kill the boredom around here for sure."

Seleph lifted her leg to a bench. "I wouldn't say this is like a competition but a way to boost your motivation as a hero." She soon flipped her hair to the right and clicked on the remote. A list of numbers emerged on screen before it ended at eight. On the first number, Princess' name emerged with a gold color.

Princess froze in place as she hid her face. "I can't believe it! How did I hit the first spot already?" She asked.

"Guess you've hit a cord with the government and the people. Nice work." Psy winked at her and faced the screen. The screen flickered while names flashed one after another. Glacier's name emerged under Princess' with Surge, Inferno, Maximum, Psy, and Vex.
