"Ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to the current President of the United States!" A voice spoke over the microphone.

Gioane waved to the crowd and held a thumb up as he faced them with a grin. "Thank you, I'm glad to be here!" He yelled. His eyes darted over to Reia while he adjusted his tie.

If this lady is with the villains then she's trying to assassinate me. I can't accuse of such things or else people will get the wrong idea. Gioane exhaled.

"And on the other podium, we have the candidate who has the second-highest numbers in the polls. She's fired up and ready to debate, give it up Miss Reia!" The announcer exclaimed.

Reia bowed to the crowd and nodded. "Yes, I'm excited to be here and with the President, we deserve a good healthy debate here."

The announcer held the microphone to his mouth. "And I am Ethan Saro the announcer for tonight. Let us begin with questions that the American people are burning to ask!" He faced the two and seated himself at a desk. "First, I'll ask you a question, President. You have introduced a hero agency in the past few months but how do you plan to increase such an agency's power?"

"As you know the hero agency was created to help the innocent folks across this nation. I want to spread more agencies throughout the world. Not only would we help those in need but are given money in return to help other issues in this country like poverty for example." Gioane said.

"And you Reia? If you were President how would you go about it?" Ethan asked.

Reia soon glanced over at him with a grin. "See I want to appoint a supernatural council to oversee the hero agency. That way more voices are given to the supernaturals and can dictate who we want to protect in this nation!"

The crowd clapped in return as Ethan held a hand up. "Thank you for answering. Now for the second question of the night. What would you do about the economy now that more jobs have opened up and specialize in supernatural talent?"

"Right, I think we should give some regulations to ensure supernaturals are not used poorly in the workforce. We can have new jobs but make sure they are done in an efficient way that everyone can profit from." Reia answered.

"For me adding jobs has always been a priority and the safety of those who go to work every day. Regulations can help but I want not only that but harsher penalties on employers who break the guidelines and more benefits for supernatural workers!" Gioane held a fist over his head. Applause followed shortly after as he cleared his throat. He eyed the crowd where three exits emerged in his view.

I can't help but shake this bad feeling in my gut. Those villains will be trying to barge in and then there's Reia. How will she react if they come running in with violence? Gioane hummed to himself.

Ethan flipped through a set of cards. "Okay, now for our next set of questions. This one goes to the President so let me-" A rumble shook the stage as the lights grew dim. Behind them, a screen soon emerged with a silhouette on it. The cameras lowered before they powered off.

"We hate to interrupt such an important show before the debates can heat up. But since Gioane failed to listen to our warning last month, we have no choice but to act on our warning." The silhouette held a hand to their face and laughed. "Now everyone here will die for what Gioane has foolishly chosen to ignore."

"Hmph, what's the meaning of this? Is the debate not going live?" Gioane asked.

Ethan stood up from the desk. "We can't seem to get rid of this screen. Everyone remain calm, our tech team will go over this problem in a jiffy."
