The next morning arrived at the hero agency when a siren blared. Cheyanne quickly rose from the bed and hopped to her feet. She soon grabbed a bodysuit and headed into the bathroom.
Alright, Cheyanne. This is the big day when I get to try out my costume and my new power as a necromancer. Cheyanne stared at herself in the mirror while she undressed. After she dressed in the hero suit, she placed a skull pendant in her hair and smiled.
"Chey, are you ready in there?" Lucy knocked on the door. "We've been waiting all night to see you dress up in it."
"I wasn't putting it on unless we had a new mission. Just wait a second." Cheyanne soon opened the door and fluffed her hair up. "Well, how do I look?"
Lucy held a thumb up and winked. "You look great! The black and grey colors really suit you and that skull is a bonus." She chuckled.
Tex tipped her hat and pulled her jeans up. "I agree, looks cuter than I thought. Makes me wonder how the other girls got their outfits to look."
The trio left their room when the door beside them opened. Psy left the room while wearing a green dress. Lightning patterns emerged on the frills and chainsaw blade patterns were on the edge of the dress.
"Look at you! That dress is sick, how long did it take to make it?" Cheyanne asked.
"Oh, I had Princess help me with this outfit. It looks way cooler than I could've imagined and it flows really well with my style." Psy replied with a smile.
Princess soon stepped out with a hot pink bodysuit and waved at them. "Hey, everyone. How do you like my hero suit?"
Tex clicked her tongue and held a finger gun to Princess. "Looking good, you all have that fresh new appearance. Should be making hero jobs way cooler."
Once the group headed to the lobby, they spotted Vesper to the right of the monitor. She adjusted her glasses when Glacier and Inferno's group gathered toward the middle. An image of a docking port emerged on the screen with several pictures of men and women.
"Good morning, everyone. I apologize for the abrupt call but there's a new mission to do. In Florida, there's a port where most trade goods come from the Atlantic. We have reports of various criminals there who are going to raid and steal cargo crates."
"Seems simple enough, if that's all we need to do then let's go." Glacier eyed Cheyanne and scoffed. "Heh, nice hero suit. Did you buy it at the dollar store?"
Cheyanne scowled at her. "Shut up, let's focus on what matters and stop these criminals! I'm ready to go if you're done being petty." She smirked.
Vesper cleared her throat and pointed out of the building. "Since the area is a fair distance, you'll be riding jets there. Once all these criminals are detained, the mission will be completed."
"Okay, sounds simple enough. We're all ready so let's roll out!" Inferno exclaimed. Once they entered the jets, they soared into the skies within minutes. Within the coming hours, they spotted a large body of water with ships near a dock.
"That's the place? How do those criminals expect to steal cargo crates? This place is loaded to the brim with people." Psy stared out the window with a frown.
Tex soon leaned in her seat and drank a bottle of whiskey. "Must have some supernatural powers if they're this confident. I'm not sure how with all the security cameras probably around but they sure are bold."
Lucy crossed her arms and inhaled. "They always act bold even if they know who we are. I guess being evil means being blind to reasoning in a way."
"Hopefully this means I can show off my new powers. Lucy and I spent last night training our butts off!" Cheyanne stood from her seat and hurried down the aisle. With a quick pull, she slid the door open and sprinted down the stairs. The heavy wind pressed against her face as sunlight reached her. "This feels nice, we landed in a really good spot."
