As the week flies, I'm grateful for the time I've had with Jasper and his family. It's been blissful. I wake up to the sun shining in my room and I hear the waves crash against the shore. I hear the boys running around and I eventually try to get up but can't. Jasper's grip on me is tighter than ever and I struggle to break free.

"Just a little longer," He groans.

"We need to get up." I kiss his cheek. He lets go and flips on to his back as he rubs his face.

I head to the bathroom and brush my teeth and throw my hair up in a bun, I walk back into the room to still see Jasper laying in bed. I grab the pillow and throw it at him.

"Get up."

"Fine," He states and rolls out of bed and heads to the bathroom. I throw on some shorts and a red tank top. I head out and downstairs to the kitchen and I offer my assistance to Athena.

"Thank you dear," She smiles as I help with breakfast. She hands me a glass of wine and laughs as she whispers, "You'll need it, trust me."

I take the glass and have a sip. While preparing the table. Arms wrap around my waist and Jasper places a kiss on my cheek. "Morning," He whispers.

"Ugh, get a room," Nate states as he walks in.

I can't help but laugh and pull him into a hug, "Morning buddy."

He smiles up at me, "Morning,"

We all sit down for breakfast and watch as David and Natty walk in. Since being here they have spent so much time together and I'm glad that Natty found someone who truly cares about her. Jasper asks Natty if she has found a job yet in the law world. She replies she hasn't.

"Well why not come work for me? I'm looking for a new lawyer to help out with new mergers and all that." He says as he bites into a piece of toast.

"Seriously?" She says as she chokes on her food.

He nods and she agrees. I look at him and smile at the sweet gesture, he wraps his arm around my shoulder and kisses my temple. I help Athena clean up after we have all finished eating.

We all take a seat on the deck and watch the waves hit the shore as the boys run around in the sand playing soccer. Something in the distance catches my eye. No! I nudge Jasper, and tell him to look over in the direction I point at.

"What the fuck? Boys inside now!" He shouts.

We all scurry inside as Jasper shouts for us to get in. Natty looks at me in confusion. David gets his gun out and readies it. Jasper knocks on the island of the kitchen exposing a hidden compartment that holds a gun.

Does he have places like this around the house?

He grabs it and cocks it back. David steps out first and Jasper follows. They search the perimeter as we all huddle in the living room. I close the curtains,

"What's happening?" Natty asks.

Before I can answer, Athena responds. "This is private property and a camera man was on the edge of the property. Who knows how long they have been here taking photos." My heart sinks because I know once we get back into Toronto all hell will break loose. My biggest fear of Cole finding me is coming true if those photos make their way to the media.

Athena gathers the boys and heads to her room with Mark. I get up and make my way to my room and Natty follows. I sit on the bed and start to cry. "It's okay, everything will be fine." She tries to console me.

"No, it's not. If those pictures get out, Cole will be here faster than you think. Those assholes not only put me in danger they also put my boys in danger." I look at her, "Natty I have to run. It's for their safety."

"Are you fucking crazy?" I jump as Jasper walks in. "You aren't going anywhere. I'll hire more bodyguards. I'm not going to let some low life scum hurt you." He says as he places the gun in the back of his pants. I knew he was tough. I just didn't think he was this crazy. It's hot. "Can you guys give us a minute?" He asks David and Natty, they nod their heads and leave.

He tells me to sit down and I do. He puts the gun down on the dresser and takes a seat next to me. "Come here," He pulls me onto his lap. "You have to remember where I came from. I've spent years in therapy to control my anger, anyone who hurts you will get it ten times worse. I have a dark past also babe and I know how to handle situations like this. You have to believe me when I say I can keep you safe."

I look into his forest green eyes and watch as the gold flecks jump around in his eyes as the sun hits them. His eyes are telling me to believe, his hands on me tell me to believe. My heart tells me to believe but my head has other ideas. I take the leap and put my life in his hands. "Okay," I says softly. "Okay," He responds.
