Dylan's POV:

We were in Monaco. Max and Lewis had won the last races. The cloud 9 of winning the first race disappeared sooner than expected. I wanted to keep winning. I wanted to win it all.

I walked in the luxurious hotel. I was gonna check-in, change and go to grab some lunch with Theo. I walked to the front desk.

"Good afternoon." The lady welcomed me and I smiled.

"Good afternoon. Dylan González." I spoke and she looked back to the computer.

I heard footsteps and turned looking at Max.

"Hey." I smiled at him.

"Hey." He raised his eyebrows and looked at the lady. "Good afternoon. Max Verstappen." She told the other lady.

"How've you been?" I asked, we hadn't seen each other in two weeks.

"Good and you?" He asked.

"Good." I replied.

"Good." He repeated.

"Room 154." Both receptionists spoke up and looked at each other.

"What?" Max and I furrowed our brows at the same time.

"This must be a mistake." Max spoke and the lady shook her head.

"There's no other rooms available. I'm really sorry." She spoke and we looked at each other.

"What about other hotels?" I asked looking back at the lady.

"Everything's full, the Grand Prix practices are tomorrow." She replied looking at her screen.

"So, I guess we're roommates." I looked at Max with a fake smiled and he chuckled nervously.

"How about I pay you double for the room and you give it to me?" He told the receptionist.

"I'm literally standing in front of you." I crossed my arms. "I'll give you triple." I looked at the lady and Max looked at me offended.

"Unluckily, I can't do that." She chuckled nervously. "I'm afraid you'll have to share the room."

Max and I looked at each other. I looked back at the receptionist and leaned on the counter.

"I'll give you quadruple and a trip to the Bahamas." I told her and she forced a smile and shook her head. "To Hawaii?" I spoke desperately.

"Here's the keys." She smiled and handed me two keys. "Enjoy." She turned back to her computer.

"I don't like sharing my space." I spoke looking at him.

"You think I do?"

"You don't have to, I have both keys." I showed him the keys and started walking away with a proud smile.

"Wait." He followed me with his eyes as I walked away. "Dylan!" He yelled and followed me.

[...]

I opened the door and we walked in.

"Oh look, there's just one bed, how wonderful." I spoke sarcastically and forced a smile.

"One what?" He walked in the room quickly and stood besides me.

"Bed. Like the thing where you lay down and you sleep in at..." I started speaking.

"I know what a bed is." He cut me off and glared at me.

"Guess you'll have to sleep on the couch." I pointed at the brown couch on the corner as I put my suitcase on the bed.
