Dyl's POV:
"I don't know Theo. He looked like he genuinely forgot." I spoke as we walked through the paddock.
"Well if he did remind him." He said shrugging, making it look easy.
"I can't." I said in a loud whisper.
"Why not?" He questioned raising his eyebrows.
"I just can't." I gave my usual reply and he sighed throwing his head back.
I shot a glare his way and he turned to look at me as people around us started calling my name, a group of fans behind the barriers at the entrance of the paddock.
I waved at them sending a smile their way.
"Forza Dylan!" One yelled and I gave him a thumbs up with a gleaming smile on my face.
"Dylan." Theo called me, my attention going back to him. "Talk to him. You need it, do it for your own sake at least." He kept insisting as we scanned our passes.
The beeping sound and my image popping on the screen.
"I will." I pursed my lips in a smile as I walked in, followed by him.
"Good. I'm proud of you." He spoke and my smile got wider. "Now on the other side. Do you think it'll be awkward between you and Charles?" He asked and I raised my eyebrows.
"I hadn't even thought about that." I admitted. It wasn't that I didn't care. I just didn't want to accept that things might change between us. I didn't like change. "Maybe." I shrugged and bit my under lip slightly. "I hope not." I added.
Theo sighed and wrapped his arm around me as we kept walking. We made our way in Ferrari's motor home. Theo opened the door letting me walk in first and then walking behind me.
As soon as I walked in everybody looked at me.
"Good morning." I waved with an uncomfortable smile. "Why are they looking at me like that?" I whispered leaning back and Theo shrugged.
"Dylan." I heard a voice and saw Flo. She had a worried expression on her face. "I need you to stay calm, okay?" She spoke and I furrowed my brows.
"What's happening?" I smiled nervously and looked at Theo.
Flo looked at him and then back at me.
"There's..." She started but was cut off.
"Dylan." Charles appeared in front of me and I swallowed hard seeing him in front of me. But he didn't look awkward or uncomfortable, he was looking at me with remorse and pity. "I swear I didn't..."
"Charles." Flo cut him off and he sighed.
"What's happening?" I asked confused by all the suspense.
"Flo?" Theo furrowed his brows.
"I found out today, I swear." She spoke and I furrowed my brows getting worried.
"Dylan." There was another voice. Mattia appeared with his arms crossed in front of his chest. We all looked at him. "We need to talk, in private." He looked at the others.
"Okay?" I replied more as a question. I walked past besides Charles and he looked down, not wanting to look me in the eyes.
I walked in Mattia's office and he closed the door behind him, leaving the others out.
"What's with all the drama?" I asked getting frustrated.
He sighed as he walked around his desk to sit down on his leather chair.
