Max's POV:

This last few days with Dylan had been amazing. It was late night and we were at the pool. She put her things on a chair and I smiled getting an idea.

I grabbed her, wrapping my arms around her waist and carrying her over my shoulder.

"Hey!" She yelled and chuckled. I laughed as I walked towards the pool. "Don't even think about it." She looked at me as she tried getting off my grip. "Max!" She yelled hitting my shoulder and my laughter just increased.

I threw her in the pool and there was a loud splash. I laughed. My laughter faded and so did my smile when I noticed she wasn't coming up.

"Dylan?" I leaned in to try and find her. "Dylan! I yelled worried.

Suddenly, she grabbed my arms and pulled me in the pool. I gasped and held my breath as I hit the water. I swam back up and gasped for air as I fixed my hair. I heard her laughter and shook my head smiling.

"You scared me." I splashed water at her and she chuckled covering her face with her hands.

"You got worried about me?" She teased and I rolled my eyes splashing water at her again. "Stop." She chuckled and splashed water back at me. "I'll race you." She spoke and I sighed.

"Really? Aren't you tired of competing all year?" I raised my eyebrows and she shook her head biting her under lip slightly.

"Nope." She replied and I chuckled softly.

"Okay, from this end to the other, yeah?" I spoke and she nodded, agreeing. "The one who wins chooses the movie tonight."

"Sounds good. Prepare to watch a Barbie marathon." She smiled "At the count of 3. 1..." She started counting.

"3!" I yelled and started swimming.

I swam as fast as I could. I touched the wall and gasped for air as I looked around. I saw Dylan leaning against the wall with her arms crossed.

"How?" I widened my eyes and she chuckled with a victorious smile.

"I was in the swimming team for one year. Right before I decided to give my body and soul to racing." She joked and I chuckled. "We're starting with Barbie A Mermaid Tale." She patted my shoulder.

"Why does that fish look like that?" I furrowed my brows as we ate popcorn and saw the movie.

"It's 2010 animation, what'd you expect?" She replied.

"His eyes are so far apart." I tilted my head looking at the TV.

"Then it looks like you." She joked and I glared at her grabbing popcorn and throwing it at her. She chuckled and I smiled.

"I haven't forgotten about the Syd from Ice Age thing." I spoke and he smiled faded.

"You...you kinda do look like Syd." She grimaced scrunching her nose.

"Rude. I'm gonna kick you out of my house." I joked and she chuckled shaking her head.

"I was joking, you don't look like Syd." She wrapped her arms around my arm and I chuckled. "Not a lot." She added and I rolled my eyes smiling.

"I was gonna say you look like the bunny from Zootopia." I spoke looking down at her.

"She's cute, I don't mind." She looked up at me with a smile and I smiled back.

The movie was almost over, I was watching so attentively I didn't notice Dylan fell asleep on my shoulder until I heard her breathing. I looked at her and smiled. I turned the TV off and covered her with the blanket, trying not to move too much to not wake her up.
