Max's POV:

"Hey elevator buddy." I heard a voice and sighed before turning around.

"Please don't call me that." I looked at the brunette and started walking.

She walked besides me. I looked at her and then looked back to the front to then look at her again.

"Why are you walking with me?" I asked and she raised an eyebrow.

"We're on the same team." She stated like it was obvious. "Plus, you looked like you needed some company." She smiled tilting her head.

"I didn't." I mumbled.

"Everyone does." She shrugged and we kept walking. "Are you excited for qualis?" She asked.

"Yeah, you?" I asked looking at her.

"My first F1 qualis, of course I'm excited. I'm here to win." She spoke and I chuckled softly. "What?" She glared at me.

"You're a rookie."

"A quick one." She raised her eyebrows and I raised my eyebrows at her and looked back to the front.

"Dyl!" Someone called her name and we turned around.

We saw Charles walking towards us.

"Can I talk to you?" He asked looking at me and then back at her.

"Uh...sure." She replied looking at me too.

"Got the hint." I raised my eyebrows and started walking.

"I'll catch up!" She yelled and I sighed.

"I hope you do!" Sarcasm dripped from my tone.

"What do you want to talk about?" She asked with that sweet tone of hers looking back at Leclerc.

"I wanted to give you some advise and wish you good luck." Charles replied.

I turned around and saw Dylan smile and hug him. They kept talking with smile on their faces. I fixed my hair and kept walking alone.

Narrator's POV:

"Lewis Hamilton with purple sector goes fastest above the Ferraris." Crofty spoke with excitement. "All eyes are on Max Verstappen now. Hamilton is on provisional pole and here come Verstappen and manages to beat him!"

"It's not over yet, Crofty. Dylan González is going on a flying lap to try and take the pole from his teammate." Martin spoke.

"And she gets a purple sector. She was flying in free practice and she's flying now in qualifying."

"I'm excited to see her racing. She's young, quick and surely has a lot to prove."

"And she's proving it right now, Martin, Dylan gets another purple sector. This might be a perfect lap."

"Verstappen really got a huge challenge with his new teammate."

"I agree, Martin. And there comes the Mexican crossing the line...and she gets pole position! Dylan González gets the first pole of the season and her first pole position in F1! A truly amazing qualifying session from her!"
