Y'know how Destiny is a grey tabby cat?
Well, I looked up the characteristics of a grey tabby and their spiritual meaning.
I'll start with the spiritual meaning first.
Their spiritual meaning basically means grace, intelligence, cunning and independence.
However, for Destiny from the beginning....
She was rather....dependent since she was considered one of the "youngest" members until she learned how to use her powers from her necklace up until learning she has a bond with one of the ring pieces like Bierce.
Now for the characteristics.
The characteristics of grey tabby cats are known as....liberty, spiritual enlightenment, intuition, balance and hope.
This describes Destiny since she was VERY different from the gang and actually has a connection with spiritual beings that aren't in their theme park.
Another thing is how grey tabby cats are really loyal to their owners which makes Destiny very loyal to Bierce since she works as her little spy.
Not to mention how they're also very affectionate which explains how Destiny's really affectionate to those she's close with. Especially Matryoshka.
