Mia didn't want to get involved....
She didn't want to risk her life and didn't want Adalyn to participate....
Up until Angel was surrounded and he was down....this made Mia PISSED....
She stood up and then that's when chaos ensued....
She beats up everyone from the enemy team until everyone is down....

Out of fury....
Fear....
And hurt....
Remembering how Angel was treated the same way....
She HATED people treating her friends horribly....
Now....is her only opportunity to take her fury out on those who hurt she loves....
And make sure they don't get up....

P.S. The reason why some parts of the song sounds distorted....was because this foreshadowed Mia's demise in the later games.
