Hey guys! Thanks to the people who asked for me to continue writing this. It made me think of where this story could go. I am writing this part, but then I'm going to skip a little bit because it's this part where I lost my idea. So without furtherado, Chapter 3 - Part 2. Sorry that this chapter is really short. I feel bad. :(

CHAPTER 3 - PART 2

[KLAUS]

Once I was sure that Caroline was calm, I walked into the room worried. I looked across the room and didn’t see her. I started to panic and was about to flip out when I heard her let out a scream. I ran to the window and looked out seeing her being taken away by some people. I narrowed my eyes then jumped out of the window landing right behind them. They turned around nervously and when they saw me, their eyes widened and let Caroline go. Caroline was next to me instantly and I glared at the three standing in front of me.

“W-w-who are y-you?” one of them asked stuttering. I smirked and took a step towards them causing them to take two backwards.

“My name is Niklaus, or just Klaus. Are you three hunters?” I asked already knowing the answer. They didn’t reply; their eyes widenened even more in fear. I was about to kill them when Caroline put her hand on my shoulder. I looked over my shoulder and saw her shaking my head.

“Klaus, they’re not worth it. We just need to look for that sword.” Caroline said. I let out a sigh and nodded.

“You’re right.” I said. She smiled at me and I turned around and let the three run away like dogs with their tails between their legs. We walked back into the hotel and the second we got to the door, I knew something was wrong.

“Love, stay out here for a second.” I said. She looked confused but nodded. I pushed the door open with my finger and it opened meaning that it was never shut. That was strange because I didn’t use the door. I checked the rooms, and didn’t see anybody. I opened the door to the bathroom and I was attacked. In seconds, I had the person pinned and I realized that it was my brother Kol. I glared at him.

“Caroline love, you can come in. It was only Kol.” I said knowing she would hear me. I got off Kol who stood up with a smirk.

“Kol, remember that this is my place, so behave or you’re getting daggered again.” I muttered angrily. He continued smirking and left the bathroom running into Caroline.

“Caroline, nice to see you again!” Kol said then walked into the kitchen. Caroline gave me a confused look.

“What is he doing here?” Caroline whispered. I shrugged not knowing, and not really caring either.

Kol was sitting on the couch relaxed when Caroline and I walked back into the room.

“Kol, what are you doing here?” I asked for Caroline’s sake. He smirked and I glared at him.

“Well brother, I'm here to warn you. Do not wake Silas, or I will stop you.” Kol said, stood up, then stormed out of the room. I shook my head and turned to see Caroline looking at me confused.

“Who’s Silas?” she asked. I sighed.

“Silas is a myth that is believed to rise and destroy the world ridding it of other mythical creatures. However nobody has ever seen Silas or met him, so he’s categorized underneath a myth.” I explained walking to the kitchen. I opened the cabinet and grabbed two glasses. I walked to the counter and grabbed the whiskey filling the glasses up. I handed one glass to Caroline who took it without hesitation. Together, we stood there in silence as we drank our whiskey.

CAROLINE

Klaus wasn't so bad when he was alone without worrying. He can be such a sweet and romantic guy, but he refuses to let people see that. In that minute as I raised the glass to my lips and stared at him, I was determined to get others see the side of him that I always see; it was my goal.
