RECAP:
"I now pronounce you husband and wife." the minister said. With a smile, Nik and I leaned in and shared a quick, but amazing and passionate kiss. When we pulled away, I then realized how gorgeous everything was. There were petals from the flower girl lining where I entered from, there were red and white roses all over the place, and it was just stunning and perfect. Nik wrapped his arm around my waist.
"So Mrs. Mikaelson, let's go party!" he said happily.I laughed at the Mrs. Mikaelson part, but it made my heart flutter with happiness and love. I agreed and the reception then began!

~

Nik and I were now married and have been for the past six hours, and it was time for bed. This day was more than I ever dreamed of; it was sheer perfection, and nothing, other than my family, could beat how I felt about today; the day I married Niklaus.

Chapter 12

CAROLINE

For our honeymoon, I wanted to go to where Nik had first proposed to me. Even though I said no, it was the place where I realized just how much Nik meant to me. We said goodbye to everyone that stayed at the hotel and we got into the car, after Nik put our things in the trunk. After a couple hours, Nik pulled up to the beach house and I couldn't help but smile. Even with a bad memory, this place was by far my favorite place on Earth, and I loved it. Granted, it was kind of large for just Nik and I, but it was nice at the same time. The outside of the house had a beautiful style, it honestly made me want to live here. It was decorated with stone and wood, and it was just beautifully put together. Nik and I walked in holding hands, the other hand carrying our luggage. When we entered, I couldn't help but glance around as if it was my first time here. We came straight into the kitchen, the dinner table, and the living room. It was so gorgeous, that I just had to let out a contented sigh. I was glad I picked here, because it was my heaven come true. Once Nik and I put our things down, we walked out onto the patio and I let out another sigh. Though the view wasn't facing the warm ocean, it was still a magnificent view. There was also the hot tub on the patio, but we weren't using that until later. We walked to the edge of the patio, because it was on the second floor, and I wrapped my arms around Nik's neck, He smiled down at me and his arms snaked around my wasit.

"I love you so much Nik. Thanks for letting me choose here." I whispered. Instead of saying anything, he leaned down and kissed me. The kiss was filled with more love and passion than I have ever felt before, it made me go crazy. We pulled away slightly out of breath and we both chuckled.

"Would you like to join me and go swimming?" Nik asked. I grinned and nodded as we both walked to the room and got changed. I searched through my luggage until I found my new gold bikini. I loved it just as much as this house! It was cute too. It was a halter bikini top with a gold ring in the middle, and on the bottoms it had the gold rings on the sides instead of laces to tie it. I put it on and took a deep breath before walking out.

NIK

I was grabbing some towels and an umbrella for the beach when Caroline stepped out. I froze and whatever was in my hands no longer was in my hands. She looked... stunning, beautiful, and just perfect. She looked truly like an angel, and I was happy, because she was my angel. She giggled and put on flip flops while I tried to gather my thoughts. Without any words, we headed down to the beach, hand in hand. Once we set everything up, Caroline was already in the water.

"Come on! Let's go swimming!" she exclaimed happily. I chuckled and ran in after her. As I took her hand in mine, it dawned on me how well we fit together. We were like two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together. Super cliche, I know, but now I could actually understand it. With a smile that said just how happy I truly was, we spent the day at the beach just having a blast with one another. It was magical, and perfect.
