John stood with Isabella in the busy airport, the noise and commotion around them seemed to fade away as they both knew what was about to happen. She was about to leave, and John wasn't sure when he would see her again. It was a bittersweet moment, one that was filled with both sadness and hope.
Isabella looked up at John, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. She knew that she was going to miss him terribly, but she also knew that she had to go. She had things that she needed to do, people she needed to see. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
"John," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know when I'll be back, but I promise you, I will be back."
John smiled at her, a small, sad smile. "I know you will," he said. "I just wish you didn't have to leave so soon."Isabella nodded, a tear finally spilling over and rolling down her cheek. John reached up and brushed it away gently with his thumb.
"I'll miss you," she said, her voice catching in her throat.
"I'll miss you too," John replied, his voice low and quiet. "But I know that you have to go."
Isabella leaned into John, resting her head on his chest. She could feel his heart beating steadily beneath her ear, and it brought her a sense of comfort. She closed her eyes and just breathed him in, trying to memorize the way he smelled and the feel of his arms around her. After a few moments, Isabella pulled away from John and looked up at him.
"I love you," she said, her voice steady.
John smiled down at her, his eyes filled with emotion.
"I love you too," he replied.
They hugged each other tightly for a moment longer, and then Isabella pulled away and turned to leave. John stood in the airport, watching as Isabella disappeared behind the security gates. He felt a pang of sadness and a wave of uncertainty wash over him.
Suddenly, he heard his own voice calling out to her, surprising even himself. "Isabella!" he shouted. She turned around, a little puzzled, and he strode towards her, determined.
"I'll marry you when you come back!" he declared, looking straight into her eyes. "I don't want to spend another day without you."
Isabella's eyes widened in surprise, but she couldn't help the smile that spread across her face. "John, what are you talking about?" she asked, still a little incredulous.
"I mean it, Isabella. I love you, and I don't want to wait any longer to make you mine. When you come back, we'll get married and start our life together," John said, his voice unwavering.
Isabella's heart skipped a beat at his words. She had known for some time now that she loved John, but hearing him declare his love for her so openly and passionately was something else entirely. She felt her eyes welling up with tears.
"Oh John," she said, throwing her arms around his neck. "I love you too. And yes, let's get married when I come back. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
John felt a surge of happiness and relief wash over him. He knew that he had taken a big risk by declaring his love so openly, but he couldn't bear to keep his feelings bottled up any longer. And now, to hear Isabella reciprocate his love so wholeheartedly, he felt like the luckiest man alive.
They held each other for a few moments longer, basking in the warmth of their embrace. When they finally pulled away, John looked at Isabella, his eyes shining.
"I'll see you soon, my love," he said, kissing her gently on the forehead.
"I'll be counting down the days," Isabella replied, smiling up at him.
With one last longing look, John turned and made his way out of the airport, already eagerly anticipating the day when Isabella would return to him, and they could start their life together as husband and wife.
As Isabella walked away, she couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness wash over her. She knew that she had to go, but leaving John behind was one of the hardest things she had ever had to do.
She made her way through the crowds of people, her eyes scanning the terminal for the gate that she needed to go to. Finally, she found it, and she took a deep breath before walking through the door.As she settled into her seat on the plane, Isabella couldn't help but think about John. She closed her eyes and tried to picture him, but it was like looking through a fog.
She knew that he was still there, waiting for her, but it was hard to imagine him without being able to see him.The plane taxied down the runway, and Isabella closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. She knew that she had to go, but that didn't make it any easier. She just hoped that John would understand, that he would know how much she loved him, even though she was leaving.
As the plane lifted off the ground, Isabella couldn't help but feel a sense of loss. She was leaving behind the man that she loved, and she wasn't sure when she would be back. But she knew that she had to go, that there were things she needed to do, people she needed to see.
And as the plane climbed higher into the sky, Isabella made a promise to herself. She would come back, no matter what. She would find a way to be with John again, to make things right between them. But for now, she had to go, and she could only hope that John would understand.
