"You look gorgeous!" Angelina twirls me around.
The girls have been prepping me for what seems like two hours. I told them it wasn't needed but they insisted on dressing me up for my dinner with Eli.
"Thank you guys so much!" I clasp my hands together admiring myself in the full body mirror.
My attire is fancy yet comfortable for dinner at the beach.
"Eli's gonna pass out when he sees you!" Anya squealed. "I know right!" Kehlani agreed.
"Y'all are hyping me up too much." I chuckle lightly, "Because you do look gorgeous." Kehlani glared at me, "And beautiful," Anya inquired, "And stunning, " Val added, "You could take someone's breath away!" Angelina acted as if she passed out.
We all busted out in laughter. "Okay, I better get going." I say and Angelina walks up to me, "I am glad Eli met you." She cups my cheek giving me a heartwarming smile. "I am happy he kidnapped me or else I wouldn't have met him." I say and she chuckles at my sarcasm.
She then pulls me in for a hug and I reciprocate the same energy.
I felt an unexpected tear rolling down my cheek as she pulled back. "Don't ruin our hard work." She laughed wiping my tears away. My life has never been filled with so much love and I am truly grateful to have met these people.
"Go on." She shoed me away, "Enjoy your dinner!" She cooed, a double meaning laced on her tone.
"Oh, I will." I smirk.
I walk outside the hotel following a trail of white roses. No workers are present, he really shut down the whole hotel for us?
One by one, my clear heels clicked on the floor in antagonizing rhythm. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion when the trail suddenly came to a halt. As I look around, I notice a hidden note written on the cobblestones.
"Look up at the planet in the night sky, and turn to the right."
"Stare at the planet in the night sky.." I gaze up at the moon, "And look to the right?" I repeated under my breathe following the direction and I could see a lit up table with white tulips all around it.
My smile broadened. My pace was slow but steady as I approached the table. My breath hitched at the smell of the familiar cologne as large hands wrapped around my waist.
Eli.
He gently kissed my left cheek and rested his head on my shoulder, "Hey mamas." I lightly laughed, "Hi." I responded shyly.
He pulled back before walking in front of me to look at my outfit. His green eyes lingered on it for a bit before gazing down at me with hooded eyes. He groaned adjusting his pants, "Maybe we should go ba-"
