Chapter 6: Chopper attack

With the heroes, they, Carmichael, and Hale make it to her truck. She walks to the driver door.

Hale: You think your radio can get a signal to McMurren from here?

Carmichael: I'll have Clyde patch us through. We can get your people in here, then I can go home and feed my dog. 

She opens the door, and gets in. She works on the radio as the heroes and Hale wait outside. 

Carmichael: Clyde, this is Terry. Do you read me? 

As she tries to get him on the radio, Winter, Sora, and Hale suddenly feels something is wrong. They can hear the wind blowing, but the wind is suddenly feel like it's being used in the air by something. They all look around.

Terry: Hello? Clyde, this is Terry. Do you read me? 

Then, the speed of the wind is now getting stronger. Sora looks around. Kairi looks at him.

Kairi: Sora? What is it?

Sora: Do you all feel that? Listen.

They all listen, and they feel the wind too. Hale walks over to the door, where Terry looks at him. 

Momo: What is that? Is that the wind?

Winter: No. It's not. Listen. 

Then, they begin to hear the sound of a helicopter. They all look around, but can't see it. Then Hale opens the door, and pulls Terry out of the truck. Then, the chopper comes up from the canyon. And it fires its machine guns at them. 

Miki: Oh, my gosh!

Toji: Holy shoot!

They all move out of the way as the bullets are hitting the ground, heading for them. They jump out of the way as the bullets hit the truck, causing it to explode. They all lay down on the ground as the chopper flies over them. They all look at it. 

Terry: Why the heck are they shooting at us?

Hale: I don't think we have time to discuss it right now. Come on.

Jaune: (Points) They're coming back!

They see it turning around, and they all get back up to run. Then, they start firing again. They run as fast as they can with the chopper firing at them from behind. They all jump down on the ledge into the canyon. They all scream as they all fall. They land on the dirt, and roll down into the canyon. Luckily, the fall was only a few feet. The chopper flies over them as they continue rolling down. They reach the bottom.

Hale: Everyone okay?

Roxas: Yeah, we're fine. 

Hale: (To Terry) Give me your gun. 

She hands him her gun. He checks the ammo, and looks around. 

Hale: Come on.

They all run for it again. As they do, the chopper suddenly comes up behind them. They fire at them again. They all dive down as Ruby takes her Crescent Rose, and switches it to sniper mode. Her and Hale aim at the chopper as they lay on their backs. They both fire at it, trying to hit the pilot. It flies over them. They all get back up, and take behind cover. The chopper is now flying over the canyon. 

Hale: (To Terry) You have any more bullets for this thing?

Terry: Yeah. 

She reaches behind her back pockets, and takes out some bullets. She hands them to him. He looks around. 

Hale: We need to get out of this canyon. 

Terry: (Points up) We can get out up that way. 

Weiss: Wait. We can't yet. Not with that chopper in the air. They'll shoot at us as we're getting out.
