Then, the truck and monsters come to a place that's against a mountain. A lot of mining equipment and carts are around the place. The truck parks in front of the entrance. And the rest of the heroes land their monsters on the ground. They call them back. Riley grabs a hook that's on the front of the truck, and they run to the entrance, that's locked up.
Riley: What is this place?
Terry: It used to be a copper mine. They shut it down a couple of years ago.
Tony connects the hook to the chains and lock. They both look at the lock, and sees it's new.
Riley: Why would they have a new lock?
Terry runs back to the truck. She then reverses it, pulling the lock and gate away from the entrance.
Riley: Alright.
Both brothers walk inside. The heroes join them as Brenda gets in the truck. They all look around, and see the whole place is dark. Then, Riley spots something as he shines his flashlight around. A generator. He walks to it, and turns the key. It starts the generator, and the whole place lights up with lights around the place. Everyone looks around. They see that the place has been used recently.
Riley: Yeah, this place has been prepped. Deak's been here.
Tony: He must have been using this place for something. Like telling his men all his plans for the nukes.
Terry: What, you think he's coming back?
Riley: Yeah, that'd be my guess. We may not have a lot of time.
Kairi: What are we gonna do?
Riley sighs, and walks to the back of the truck. He looks at the nukes with Tony.
Riley: We'll just take away his reason for being here. (To everyone) Want to help us unload these things?
They all look at the nukes, and they help the brothers unload the nukes out of the truck. They lay them on the ground. Riku sees Gilson tied up, and still knocked out.
Riku: What do we do with him?
Tony: Leave him there. He's tied up, and we got his gun.
They all gather around the nukes. Riley is trying to open up the compartment where they enter the codes. Terry looks at the nuke.
Terry: My gosh.
Riley unscrews the cover, and reveals the buttons to enter the codes. Everyone looks at it and looks at Riley.
Ruby: Um, are you sure you know what you're doing?
Riley: When you fly with nuclear weapons, you're trained to retrieve if possible, disable if necessary, and destroy if essential.
Terry: And what are we doing?
Riley: (Looks at her) I'm gonna disable it.
Tony: Yeah, so it's necessary. You see, you've got to enter a code to arm these things. If you enter the wrong code three times, the nuke goes dead completely.
Riley: All the circuitry shuts down and shorts out. So pretty soon, these things will be nothing more than paperweights.
Riley then enters a code to turn on the armed code. The numbers zero appear on it, meaning it's waiting for the armed code. Just then, they hear Deakins' voice on a radio.
Deakins on radio: Hale, pick up. Pick up! Come on, buddy. Pick up the phone.
Everyone looks at each other, and around. Riley walks to the truck. He finds the radio, and picks it up. He slams the door as he talks.
