Chapter 15: Fistfight, ending

The train continues its way to Denver. Kelly and Gilson both climb up the ladder on the next car. Both brothers watch underneath, and they climb onto the car. They all come out of hiding. The heroes turn visible, and land back down. They all look around. 

Sora: Well, at least we've stopped them from leaving. 

Jaune: Yeah, but now we're stuck here. With the nuke.

Momo: What are we gonna do now?

Terry: (Looks at Riley, and notices something) Oh, gosh. Your shoulder.

Everyone looks at him, and sees that part of his flight suit on his shoulder is ripped. 

Riley: Help me off with this. 

They help him take out his suit, to reveal a dark white shirt. His left sheeve is ripped, and his arm and shoulder was scarped by the rocks and gravel when he was holding onto the car underneath. 

Terry: Oh, gosh. 

Tony: (Looks at it) Doesn't look too bad. 

Yuu: What do we do now, Hale? 

Tony: Well, we've got to stop Deakins now. Now that his chopper is gone, he might find a way out once the train makes it to the city. 

Riley: No matter what happens, this train can't make it to the city, so you all stay here and uncouple the car. I'm gonna go after Deakins. 

Sora: Not by yourself. He still got two men with him. I'm coming with you.

Tony: So am I. 

The three of them walk to the ladder, and look at the others. 

Riley: We'll see you all soon. 

Terry: You promise? 

Riley nods, and climbs up. Tony follows him. Sora looks at his friends, and winks. He climbs up after them. Kairi smiles at Sora. They hope that they can deal with them in there. In the car, Gilson and Kelly watch from behind cover, and they see Deakins using the remote to shut down the nuke. He walks to it, and paces around it. They watch him. Then, he looks at the nuke. 

Deakins: Screw them if they can't take a joke. 

He pushes the buttons on the nuke. The two men look at each other, and run to see what he's doing. They both look at the nuke, and they see that he's turning it back on, and lowering the countdown. He set it to blow in five minutes. 

Kelly: (Looks at Deakins) What the heck are you doing?! 

Deakins then looks at them with a look on his face. They both see that he's doing this out of spite, for he knows that his plan is falling apart. Above them, Sora, Riley, and Tony see them. They all think of a plan to get there. Riley then pulling the wire from the dish, and disconnects the wire from it. Then, he looks and sees the dead body of the man that Wilkins and Rodriguez killed to save him. He then gets an idea. He walks over to the body, and grabs it. As he do, they all hear someone coming their way. They all look, and see Rodriguez walking to them. He's alive, and awake. He nods at them, and they nod back. Back inside, Kelly holds Deakins at gunpoint. 

Kelly: Shut that son of a crap down, now! This ain't what we signed on for. We're not ready to die, not for you.

Gilson: He's right, Deakins. You're gonna kill a lot of people, and us at the same time. You're gonna make yourself die for nothing!

Deakins: (Points his gun at them) Everybody dies, Kelly and Gilson. I'm as good a reason as any. 

They both back away as they keep their guns on him.
