Chapter 10: Mine battle

Riley, Tony, Terry, Sora, Roxas, Riku, Toji, and Kai finish loading the nukes on the elevator. Only three people can get on. Riley, Tony, and Terry get on the elevator. 

Riley: Alright. 

The elevator goes down. The heroes look around, and they find a ladder behind the elevator. They all begin to climb down, following the elevator down below. They climb down one by one, carefully, and slowly. Brenda goes next after Namine, and Jaune goes next. Everyone is climbing down into the mines below. Meanwhile, with Rodriguez, he's on a a chopper, heading for Utah. While on the ride there, he picked up a radio transmission. He was listening to Deakins and Hale talking. Turns out, it's Deakins who's stealing the nukes, not Hale. He tried to set him up. He contacts the Chairman. 

Michael: (Talks to Chairman) Sir, this is Lieutenant Rodriguez. I've got to tell you something important, sir. 

Back with the heroes, they're still following the elevator down below. The elevator reaches the bottom. Tony looks around with his brother and Terry. The place is huge. And they hear faint rumbling somewhere. They listen to it. 

Riley: What's that noise? 

Terry: It's water. There's an underground river beneath this place. 

Riley: Alright, let's get these things unloaded. 

They walk to the nukes to get them off the elevator. Meanwhile, back above, Gilson starts to wake up. He groans as he opens his eyes. He looks around, and sees that he's still in the truck. And he's tied up. As he struggles to get free, someone finds him. He looks, and sees Kelly. Kelly opens the door, and helps him out of the ropes. He signals Deak, letting him know that he found Gilson. He sees Johnson and Pritchett. He looks around for his gun, but can't find it. He sighs, and gets out of the truck. Kelly gives him his pistol. He nods at him. They move to the elevator, and sees that it's been taken down below. Deakins looks down, and looks at Mr. Pritchett, who is down the steps. Deakins then pushes the elevator button, making the elevator come back up. Back down below, the heroes then follow them, as they put the nuke on a cart, and push the cart down the tunnel. They leave the other one behind. They don't see the elevator going back up. They go down the tunnel. After pushing the cart down way further down, they stop. Deakins, Gilson, Kelly, and Johnson all come down in the elevator. They see the other nuke. 

Gilson: There's one of them. 

Kelly: We know. 

Gilson: Deakins, what now?

Deakins: Gilson, you and Johnson come with me. Kelly, stay here. 

They follow him down the tunnel. The heroes all look at the nuke. There's now 22 minutes left. 

Terry: Now what?

Riley: Now we get out of here before he shows up. 

They all turn, and run to get out. But as they do, Johnson finds them, and open fires on them. Brenda screams as she covers herself. Tony grabs her, and they all run back. Deakins and Gilson run at Johnson. The bullets hit the cart, barely missing the nuke as they hide behind cover. Deakins grab Johnson, and stops him firing. 

Gilson: Johnson, are you insane?! You're gonna blow us up!

Deakins: How many times do I have to say it? Please don't shoot the nuclear weapons. 

He lets him go, and sighs. Gilson sighs too, knowing that this is gonna be tough. Riley, Tony, and Terry take out their guns. Both brothers look at each other, and at the nuke. They both roll over to the cart, and return fire at them. Gilson jumps behind cover, and aims for them. He fires at them, but shoots the cart. Both brothers move out of the way, and run with the others down another tunnel. Johnson moves out to move behind the nuke, and fires at the tunnel. He doesn't see them. He reloads his gun as Deakins walks to the nuke. He touches it as he looks at it. Gilson looks at him as he takes out his walkie talkie.
