Third Person, Following Elora

"You weren't joking," Sophie said, her face pale, the moment Shaylie had light-leaped to Havenfield.

Shaylie looked down at her clothes. She had worn black leggings, a cerulean blue tunic that had a matching ribbon sash embroidered with gold flowers, and brown boots. She looked back up at Sophie in confusion, "Is this still too fancy for wrestling a verminion?"

Sophie gave herself a face-palm before she replied with, "I should've known you weren't joking, you seriously wanted to wrestle the verminion."

"Of course I don't want to wrestle the verminion!" Shaylie laughed, watching as Sophie's pale face flushed with colour from embarrassment. "But I did mean what I said about helping you with chores."

"Oh, well lucky for you, I don't have any right now," Sophie mumbled.

"That's a shame," Shaylie said with a smile, reaching into her satchel, she pulled out a purple square box with a ribbon, "has anybody introduced you to sugarknots yet?"

Sophie shook her head, "No, not yet."

"Well you're missing out, they're amazing!" Shaylie opened up the box showing Sophie the delicate pastries and grinned when she saw her friend's brown eyes widen in surprise. "Here, take one," she picked out one of the still-warm pastries and handed it over to Sophie.

To say that Sophie looked as if she had eaten a miracle was an understatement.

"Did you bake these!?" Sophie asked through a mouthful of the sugarknot.

"Of course not! I might have a knack for baking, but I'm not that good! Not yet anyways," Shaylie responded with a laugh, "I stopped by Atlantis to pick these up, sugarknots are one of my favourites, and I had to make sure my best friend knew what they were!"

"You stopped by Atlantis to get me these!?"

"It's not that inconvenient if you stop by there ever so often," Shaylie replied with a shrug, grabbing a sugarknot for herself before storing the box back in her satchel. Looking back up at Sophie she added, "Aren't you going to show me your room?"

Sophie blinked at Shaylie, uncomprehending.

"You've already shown Dizz—Dex," Shaylie pointed out.

"Oh right," Sophie realised before leading the way into the house.

Shaylie looked around, admiring the clean and well-designed architecture of the house.

"Shaylie, this is Grady and Edaline," Sophie introduced, gesturing to the two elves reading scrolls on the white couch.

With a small dip of her head, Shaylie greeted the Ruewens. "It's a pleasure to meet you,"

"The pleasure is all ours," The blond male—Grady, said with a small smile.

Reaching into her satchel, Shaylie brought out another square box—though it was a smoky blue colour this time. "I brought these for you, they're fluffcreams I baked this morning." She explained as she handed the box to Edaline.

Edaline—who Shaylie thought looked rather tired and anxious—took the box and offered her a small smile.

"Why don't you girls go ahead and tour Sophie's room?" Grady suggested with a rather forced looking smile.

With one last look at the Ruewens, Shaylie turned to follow Sophie up the stairs.

"Woah," Shaylie let out a stunned breath at the sight of the very spacious third floor room, "this, is your bedroom?"
