9: TEACHER'S PET

Tonight was their first "lesson."

Phayu was nervous. He didn't expect that.

He was supposed to be the 'pro' here. It was not like this was his first time. He had had sex many times before with both men and women since he had always been attracted to both.

But in the past, it had either happened more naturally after dating someone and getting to know them, or in the heat of the moment, maybe after some drinks.

Tonight, it was less natural, more contrived, with someone that he still didn't know very well. Someone who was looking to him to set the pace and know exactly how things should unfold.

But he wasn't sure. Beyond thinking of the basic things that he wanted to show Rain, he hadn't really thought about the mood to set or how awkward this would actually feel.

And Rain was on his way over, about to be here in just minutes.

I'd better get my shit together.

He was glad they had decided to meet at his place tonight, at least he felt more comfortable in this space.

He shared this house with his brother. It was a big sprawling contemporary home that his parents had designed together. Their mother and father lived outside the city in the family compound and had left this house as a shared inheritance between him and his brother to do as they pleased.

He loved this house. It was big enough that he and Saifah had their own spaces, but also comfortable enough that it felt like a home.

At his request, his brother was sleeping at the apartment above his auto shop tonight, so he and Rain had the house to themselves.

The gate bell rang.

He's here. No backing out now!

He buzzed Rain in and watched as he walked in through the front yard and up to the door. 

Ahh.

He had almost forgotten why he so eagerly said yes in the first place a few days ago.

His pulse quickened just at the sight of him. Rain was beautiful.

If his thumping heart was any indication, he'd better figure out how to make this night great so that they could keep doing this. Whatever 'this' was.

Rain came to the front door where he was waiting.

"Hi P'Phayu," he greeted him, smiling nervously.

Somehow, seeing Rain's nervousness made his uncertainty disappear.

He knew exactly what he wanted to accomplish tonight.

"Hello." He smiled and touched Rain on his shoulder in a warm but non-threatening greeting. "Come in."
