Tears blur your vision as you look at Sunwoo's shocked face, and you hastily swipe them away. You need to stay strong to do this or else you'll never go through with it. Even if it feels like your heart is being ripped out of your chest.

"I'm breaking up with you," you say with as much strength as you can muster. When only silence meets your ears, you say, "You can let yourself out."

With that, you flee to your room, covering your mouth to keep the sobs from coming out. You slam your bedroom door behind you, barely making it to your bed before you collapse on it. Nausea works its way through you and you fight to keep it down, but it feels like your own body is fighting against the stupid choice you just made.

It's not even a minute later when your bedroom door flies back open and Sunwoo barges in. You glance up at him, not even caring how horrible you look, and find that he almost looks just as bad as you. His face is beet red and his cheeks are wet with tears that tear you into pieces.

"What the hell are you talking about? Why are you breaking up with me?"

"Sunwoo, I told you to leave."

"Bullshit. I'm not leaving until we talk about this."

He moves toward you and gathers you up in his arms. He holds onto you tightly like you're a life raft keeping him afloat. When you feel his whole body shaking, you hate yourself.

"Talk to me," he pleads into your hair. "Let me in."

"I'm not good enough for you," you cry. "You deserve so much more than I can give you. All I do is bring you down, and I can't live with myself for doing that. So, I'm setting you free."

He squeezes you tighter and takes a deep breath. "I hate that you feel like that, but none of it is true. You're everything to me. You make me excited to face the day. I never thought I could love you as much as I do, so, please… don't leave me…"
