The next morning flew by as they swiftly packed up the modest tent, making sure the leftover fish was neatly wrapped before moving off. Sidon looked down at the smaller man, swallowing hard since yesterday night's dialogue was still vivid in his thoughts. He opened his mouth to speak but immediately shut it again. The other knew there was still more to discuss, but he wasn't sure if Link would try to change the subject as he did last night. Panic grew in the larger man's gut as he felt he was keeping him captive and forcing him to acquire weight, while Sidon desired this, the prince wanting nothing more than to be a giant lap cat for the hero.
Sidon was too lost in thought to hear Link stop and ran into the smaller male. "Did you hear me?" He quizzed, trying to regain his footing.
"N-No sorry, was lost in thought," Sidon answered.
Link chuckled, "I said this hill is perfect for some shield sledding." He repeated.
"Shield sledding?" The other asked cocking his head to the side.
"Yeah, we've been walking for a few hours now, we still have a couple of days before we reach the stable. Let's take a break." Link suggested.
"Shouldn't we cover as much ground as we can before dark?" Sidon argued.
"There's nothing to worry about anymore, I took care of the monsters remember" Link replied with a large smile.
"I guess you're right," Sidon muttered, watching the younger male slip his bag from his shoulder, setting it on the ground. Link rummaged through his bag for a few minutes before pulling out his shield, then set it at the start of the hill.
"Are you sure this is safe?" Sidon questioned nervously.
"Don't worry, I've done this plenty of times." The hero reassured him.
The prince looked down at the shield and then back at Link. "I don't think there is enough room for both of us." He commented.
"That's why I packed a spare," The hero replied, holding up a second shield.
"Do I want to know why you packed those?" Sidon asked.
"You never know when you'll need one. Now come on live a little." Link urged.
"I think I'm living enough." The prince muttered, rubbing his stomach. The larger male stared at the smaller for a moment before sighing and nodding his head, smiling slightly as the hero squealed with excitement and hopped up and down.
Sidon carefully pulled the shield from the hero's hands, placing the wooden shield next to Link's. The larger male's gut heaved with fear as he saw the other go inside the enormous shield and seat down, as it swayed back and forth gently. "Come on, I promise you won't get hurt." Link said.
The shark sighed and stepped into the wooden shield, oblivious that it was pinching his love handles. Has he grown that much? His cheeks reddened. Shortly afterward, his huge yellow eyes darted down to the ball sitting on his lap, and excitement flooded his chest.
"Ready?" Link quizzed; his eyes blown wide with excitement.
"Not really," Sidon answered truthfully.
"We don't have to do this if you don't want to Sid." The hero said.
The prince shook his head, tightening his grip on either side of the shield. "No, I want to do this." He stated.
Link nodded, tipped his shield forward, and sped along the grass field. Sidon stared as the other sprinted down the slope, opening and closing his mouth before closing his eyes and following suit. With the wind rushing over Sidon's face, he opened his lips to scream but only air came out, while the smaller man next to him was hooting and shouting with delight, and the prince grasped the shield tightly.
By the time Sidon opened his eyes, they were at the bottom of the hill, Link was next to him laying on his back giggling to himself while the larger male gasped down air, he let out a shaky breath turning his attention toward the other. Sidon listened to the hero giggle to himself before trying to stand, his legs wobbled underneath him as he slammed into the grass on his knees. "Are you okay?" The blonde hero asked, rushing to his side.
"F-F-Fine." Sidon lied.
"Was it that bad?" Link asked, rubbing Sidon's back gently,
"Was just something I never done before; a lot different than jumping off of waterfalls." He answered.
"How about I make you a large meal as an apology?" Link asked.
Sidon let out a weak chuckle, "Starting to think you want to fatten me up." He gasped.
The blonde hero glanced away quickly, smiling to himself. "In your dreams." He commented.

Sidon calmed down a few hours later, and the couple found shelter in a shaded area. Link went to work on the fire while Sidon started unpacking the food. "Don't you get tired of fish?" He asked.
"Not, when I was traveling, I ate whatever I could make." Link answered. "Besides I'm more worried about you, isn't there a law against eating your brethren?" He added.
The prince shook his head, "Surprisingly no," He replied.
"We should get to the stables tomorrow, hopefully when we get there, we can eat some real food for a few days before we start heading toward the next town." The blonde hero stated.
"Where are we heading next?" Sidon asked, with a mouth full of food.
Link shook his head while pulling the map from the bag. "Kakariko Village." He replied.
"Are you going have to endure another feast?" Sidon asked, hand flying down to his stomach.
"Probably, Zelda mentioned a lot of villages and towns want to show thanks for saving Hyrule." The blonde answered.
"If we keep going to feats, I won't be able to fit in any clothing soon," Sidon muttered.
"That's the point, you wanted to be my big lap cat, didn't you?" Link teased.
"I think you mentioned me being a pig, not a cat." The shark replied.
Link bit back a laugh, poking the fire a few times before handing the other a second fish. "You keep eating the way you are, and soon you'll be too fat to stop me from stuffing you piggy." The hero said.
Sidon flushed and looked down at the ground. He swallowed hard, his hands trembling slightly with excitement. Heat coiled in Sidon's gut as the mere concept of growing forced his breathing to become labored. Half of him was concerned about what his relatives would think, while the other half was unconcerned. That half didn't care if he returned home or stayed with Link since he knew his father would find someone else to run the kingdom if he informed him, he wanted to stay with the Hyrulians. His gaze dropped to his stomach; they'd be in a new town in a few days, which meant another festival, which meant more food. As a result, he'd grow in size.
"Have you thought about what we'll do when I get too big to walk anymore?" Sidon asked finally.
"I honestly thought you'd come home with me back to Zelda's castle. She already has a home for us when we return." Link answered.
"I'd love that." Sidon smiled, setting a hand on the other's.
"A-Are you sure you're okay with gaining weight?" We can stop, and I will take you home." The blonde hero stuttered.
"Like I said before, I wouldn't have said yes if I didn't mean it. I want to do this with you, and I don't mind the extra weight. If I am being honest, I kind of link it." Sidon admitted.
"Thank you for coming with me." The other male whispered.
"Anything for you, my king," Sidon whispered back, kissing the other's head.
